    Memphis and Tulane are definitely NOT joining the Pac 2. UTSA is just being the whore that they are and lifting their skirt to see if they can get a couple more dollars in the tip jar. I don't think people understand how desperately broke they are. Memphis and Tulane are in direct contact with the ACC who is telling them what they need to hear.

    North Texas was never interested in being involved in the PAC 2 expansion process. They made that clear from the start. That is why you are not seeing them mentioned in any of the reports as a candidate.

    Layne's grandmother is bravely battling cancer and his decision was based on staying closer to her and the rest of the family as they support her during this difficult time. UNT did the right thing for this young man by letting him out of his signed NLI.

    This will far surpass the deal we had with Apogee both in size and time-frame. It will also have a much larger impact in the local community than we have probably ever had. And there is much more to come, as this is just the stadium, they have some large suitors for the AC naming rights as well as other projects yet to be announced.

    Grant took the job because it is easier to get to the NCAA’s. Tech with UNT’s record would have been a lock for the tourney. Also money played a part and facilities. But those were secondary.
