Tbf, a lot of our games this past year in football felt like they were 68-66 type games

Texas State flew too close to the sun after their best season in years. de Laura's legal issues were public knowledge, and yet they pushed out their star QB for a QB who may not even be better than Finley, and he was in legal trouble. Nobody to blame but the coaching staff on this one, and it lies mainly on Kinne. What a shit show

Due to him being a grad transfer I believe that they have more freedom with entering the portal. They can essentially enter the portal at any time

If anything, they'd try and give some calls to ECU when we play them again in March. The conference isn't going to "punish us" against Charlotte, but trying to please ECU when they play us again would be the likely thing. Even then, I doubt anything happens. As far as I've seen, only ECU fans are upset. I haven't seen any actual members of the ECU team say anything

We've been adding a lot of safeties this offseason. I hope our DC has a plan on how to keep these talented DBs on the field instead of them rotting away on the bench. Hopefully, the defense can get creative, just look at how the Minnesota Vikings used their safety Josh Metellus, where he played all over the field. I want all the best guys on the field!

Now I hope that Earle goes back to ACU just so they can have a QB room of Stone & Maverick. Do y’all see how badass that’d look on paper

Seeing how full the QB room is, we gotta assume that Cash redshirts this season, right?

Crazy thing is, we’re going to see this play out at UNT with Morris and Mooney now… we’ll get a first hand view on two guys transferring in and one of them ultimately losing the starting job. Will be interesting to see it unfold

I gotta respectfully disagree with you here. Morris wasn't coming in and replacing a terrible coach. Seth was a guy that had UNT playing "bowl game football", which is 6/7 wins a year. Obviously not stellar, but you can do much worse. C- is a fair grade, but we can't compare 1st year Morris to last year Littrell. Seth had built something here, while Morris is still building up

South Alabama is going to lose some players to the transfer portal now and may be pretty depleted when next season comes. I get that we’re playing them next year but this still sucks to see. Smaller programs can’t bounce back quickly after losing head coaches and players to the transfer portal like the big programs can
