  1. You'd have to assume that they'd have to put some form of protection against bad programs with rich donors. Imagine if Harvard donors decided they wanted to launch them into the big leagues. Not sure that would/should be allowed
  2. It would be our best win BY FAR in the young season. A win could be a great confidence boost before Mississippi State (not discrediting Fordham. Solid program there too)
  3. Bring back Seth Littrell. If you want to enter the transfer portal, you have to beat him in a 1 on 1 wrestling match first. Our team retention would be through the roof
  4. Time to put this on a shirt. It'll never go out of fashion at UNT
  5. Maybe UAB was onto something when they cut the cord on their program a few years back. They tried to save themselves from the eternal hell that is college football
  6. So...reverting things back to the old ways?? Changes obviously need to be made, but there is no future in which NIL is completely done away with. Athletes already got a taste of this life, trying to have them turn back would destroy CFB
  7. Maybe they're joining the PAC-12 so they can blame the low viewership numbers on the late west coast start times
  8. Why'd you leave out the "national brand" schools you've been flaunting?
  9. Congratulations on getting the honor of being beaten down in front of national audiences I guess
  10. I know this isn’t specifically UNT related but seeing as SMU is our biggest “rival” this is still big news. I don’t expect that our yearly matchup would be changed by them moving to a Power 5 conference but it’s something to keep an eye on. And if SMU leaves that means the AAC will need to replace them. Could another former C-USA opponent take their spot?🤔
  11. This whole new regime, from the AD down, has been great. Don’t get me wrong, Wren and Seth did some awesome things here, but I think things got a little stagnant. Let’s hope the new guys can build upon the former amazing work and get UNT even higher!
  12. UNT coaching staff seeing the original post in this thread
  13. The amount of defensive talent that’s being brought in with this recruiting class
  14. UNT is creating the "No Fly Zone" now. Somebody warn Scrappy
  15. It would make sense to go with a more modern song with the current student body. It's hard to get a song that can get both the student side and the regular fan side on their feet, but catering it to the students is the way to go, right? There are people like Three 6 Mafia or DMX who could kinda bridge the gap between older and newer UNT fans alike but man is it hard to find something for everyone
  16. Didn’t mean to spark this debate my fault y’all😅
  17. Not tryna hate on Seth but like…what was he up to when he was here. Morris is already killing it in just a few months
  18. Personally, I think that UNT should go full speed ahead on the UNT mugs that un-intentionally spell CUNT. They're a classic in my eyes
  19. While the idea to create a Mean Green themed restaurant is solid, I'm fairly certain that Vince Young has little to do with the steakhouse in Austin. He gave them the rights to use his name but that's kinda the scope of his involvement if I understand correct. He's the poster boy for bad business decisions sadly enough
  20. Former UTSA commit too. Glad he made the right choice
  21. He already comes in ahead of Brett Maher in the DFW kicker power rankings
  22. 247 also doesn't account for transfers in the class. So while UNT is stacking up a solid group in the portal, this doesn't change how UNT ranks. Just gotta remember that we're bringing in some really good ball players that won't show up on the class standings!
