  1. There has to be a reason he’s been the interim on 2 other occasions but was never later named the full-time, no? I think a new voice is needed.
  2. My apologies as I didn’t meant to strike a nerve. Wasn’t my intentions and was out of line. I chose my words poorly and didn’t mean to take a shot at Rudy. Just didn’t want any shots taken at those kids, directly or indirectly. this has been a crap season for all of us, none more so than those in that lockerroom. Guess I just got a little verklempt 😂 when I saw them celebrating with shirts after the game. Had to be a huge weight lifted from their shoulders. again, my apologies and GMG.
  3. Feel free to stop by the locker room and let these guys know. you don’t have to like how the season went (most don’t). You don’t have to think the coaches did the job that was expected of them (most don’t). But you can’t S on the players for achieving and celebrating a milestone, no matter how unworthy you think it might be. Be better.
  4. No, but I will let him sit at the grownup table next Thanksgiving
  5. Because you are not new here
  6. Haha. You must be new here.
  7. …..still not EM
  8. How has Temple won 3 games?
  9. I always wonder what athletes like Chandler are thinking on days like today. At his previous stops, big ass stadiums that were filled with fans. Now he’s playing in front of hundreds against Temple. Probably drew more at HP and for sure during his TXHSFB championships.
  10. Temple KR is a S-show this far.
  11. I suspect we’ll retain most. It’s the exodus from the current roster that will be concerning. And this will be a yearly challenge, sadly. And that’s not a dig at UNT but the reality of the NIL era.
  12. Always makes me chuckle when they are talking about EM and a camera is following some random person…. that is not EM.
  13. Unless we’re sitting at the top of the conference, year after year, this is going to be a regular occurrence. And that’s not a slight at UNT. It’s the mark of today’s youth/families. Grass is always greener. My kid deserves better. It’s easier to jump than it is to fight.
  14. We’re talking about 2 different scripts here. The NT script on the helmets isn’t ideal. The MG script on the BKB uniforms was perfect….for that application.
  15. I’m marginally OK with having the script on there. I’m not at all OK with using Brophy Script font that’s straight out of Microsoft Word. Those helmet scripts are somewhat iconic because they are unique to them. Specialized font. We literally are marketing a generic free font that’s on millions of computers right now.
  16. So you are advocating for a 400% pay increase for the next HC so we can [hopefully] get out of this mess? If we had that kind of money, I’m rolling with Morris and putting $3.7M towards the OL/DL, easy.
  17. That is a fantastic question. ————- Morris will earn a base salary of $900,000 per year, plus guaranteed incentives, including a $300,000 annual radio/television stipend.
  18. I don’t know what is standard, but Morris getting $300K for media appearances is baffling to me.
  19. If we beat Temple, will our guys stick around for the incredible Frisco Bowl swag or will they jump quick. 😂
  20. He didn’t come in off the street. He was a part of the program and probably didn’t have to change a thing. What a mid-season change CAN do is change an attitude. Change a belief. Those 2 elements alone can contribute to success. Then when it starts turning positive on the field, it becomes a snowball. A mid-season change to an interim is not the same as an off-season change. Those often result in a program overhaul.
  21. A reality check as to what type of program we are, have been and will be.
