My Question for Jared Mosley
Green with Envy replied to El Paso Eagle's topic in Mean Green Football
1. Hitting a home run with this hire and putting a winning FB program on the field will make this task easy to accomplish. 2. See 1 3. See 1. Football is king Get people excited about football, they will be excited about UNT Get people excited about UNT, they will show up to basketball -
I see zero ‘recruiting’ qualities in him. If I was a parent, I couldn’t imagine anything he could say that would get me excited about turning over my kid to him for 4-5 years.

I doubt that Wren had ‘his list’. The list in question had to be built from input and conversation with many others. Ergo, ‘the list’ likely has a lot of Jared’s hands on it too.

I am starting to have strong feelings towards Emmett

Shoot your shot. -
I would have a hard time believing he would want anything more than what he’s got now. Still involved in the rush of the game. Still eyes/input on X O. Still opportunities to impact lives. No recruiting. No late nights sleeping in his office. No media obligations.

Ridiculous. I. I. I. I.

Breaking News Seth Littrell has been fired.

Read a little too much into that. Though, 15 years between college stints is pretty significant. The game, the people, the atmosphere, everything changes over that span. -

Apples and oranges. Traylor spent 5 years as an assistant. Learned a lot and established a lot of connections. UTSA didn’t gamble at all. Dodge went straight from HS HC to college HC. -
Our all black unis are too fancy for him. too soon?

I don’t have a favorite. I don’t even have a list. But I want someone that makes me want to run through a wall for them. I want the energy knob cranked to 11. And I want the same for our future recruits, signees and transfers. I know the stoic can get it done too. I don’t want stoic. I want high energy.

The powers that be aren’t obligated to show their hand. Don’t have to keep loyal fans in the loop. I suspect that all of this has played out just as they drew it up and has been in the works for some time. Nothing a surprise to anyone other than possibly SL. -

I think you misspelled ‘lost’ and ‘loses’. -
Anxiously Awaiting Monday Morning

There is always someone watching the board and no doubt he was tipped off. Have to protect the brand. I don’t blame them. The “comeback player” was the last tweet he had at the time. -
All season long….and I mean ALL. SEASON. LONG. I have looked at this and subconsciously read …is gone If somehow he makes it to next season, can an admin please change it? I can’t go through the 2023 season reading what my mind wants to see, only to get let down again when I realize my mind is wrong….again.

I love to read into things way more than I should. Seth hasn’t tweeted anything about the Bowl Game. -
So what P5 is gonna hire Traylor?

Keep your eye on Hudson Card. -
I’d be willing to roll the dice and see. 😉

Where do we go from here?
Green with Envy replied to meangreenfaninno's topic in Mean Green Football
In reality, why do we need to extend? He’s under contract for 2023. The optics aren’t great to be working under the last year of a contract but if he doesn’t like it, he can beat feet. Professional athletes often have their best years in a contract year. He can fight for a new contract here or fight for another opportunity outside. -
We are all Neal.
