Many will say basketball. I went to the golf course. Caught the end of the game when I got home. That’s where I’m at with this program now.

How many more chances do we have to ‘get this thing right’? Get the right coach, stop throwing money away, and turn the corner into being a competitive program yearly? I suspect that our booster pockets are not deep. At what point do we lose what financial support we do get? When do they consider this a money pit and decide to stop giving? Or do I have it all wrong and we’ve got people out there willing to throw bad money after bad money?

And easy with those comparisons. Kiffin was fired from the Raiders and had several college stops before FAU. Coker was out of the game for a number of years before starting up UTSA. Deion was a publicity hire that just happened to have worked out.

Why in the world would Zach Orr leave a DC position in the NFL for this program? I don’t care if we we’re the North Texas Fight Zach Orrs playing at Orr Family Field, he’s not making that move.

Agreed. No issue at all. People said for years that Kyler was too small. He’s pretty OK, I guess. We don’t need or expect a Kyler, but JimJim should be given every opportunity to compete, regardless of height.

I played baseball and coached softball. No football so I’m lacking the game plan knowledge. I realize there only 2, potentially 3 games left. Know you can’t install a new system or overhaul. But there can be some tweaks, I’m sure. historically, what kind of defenses was Odom associated with? 4-man fronts? Blitzing? Heavy man-coverage? Will we / can we notice a difference as we close out the season? The players will notice a difference, I’m sure, but will we? Honest answers and discussion.

Unless he’s getting a UNT sized bag (which can’t be much) and the promise of playing QB, he’s probably limited elsewhere at his size.

Triangle of Toughness. You don’t have to like the guy and you may think he’s a snake. But you can’t deny that he can coach, motivate and recruit.

I agree. Yes, the kids have made some boneheaded decisions over the course of the season, but in large, they are max effort. Failure if this season falls at the coaches feet.
