I just listened to the Coach Bennett podcast which you must listen to here: Can I just say, hearing that Littrell confronted Lane Kiffen for tampering with our star player made me really proud. That took guts to stand up to Lane and I am proud we have a coach that is not afraid to call him out. Now it sounds like Lane didn't give a shit but still I like to see our head coach stand up for UNT like that.

I agree with you but it looks like Bloesch and Phil Bennett are the first in line if Littrell leaves to take over. I think even if Littrell is canned we should think about retaining Patty. We should treat Patty like a tenured professor and protect him from any other regime changes.

I live here too and don’t see it as adversarial, more like a long married couple that are unhappy but stay together for the kids. The fact is you can’t have one without the other and both sides know this. Sadly the City chooses to work against UNT instead of with them in my experience.

I wondered why he wasn’t playing. I hope as a legacy he can overcome these issues and get back on the court this season. With the guys we have coming back and have added it won’t be easy.

I get what you are saying and god knows filling up my truck is painful. My only thing is can't the guy be given a chance to adjust his stated policies and be allowed to make a smooth transition? He's clearly trying the best he can to address the gas prices and I think we should give him a chance to right the ship before demanding he step down. Why can't the oil companies give in a little bit here for the sake of the country?
