  1. Not too good on names but #13 looked pretty mobile at QB and threw some good passes. #3 as well.
  2. Would you prefer we focus all of our resources towards basketball now?
  3. Totally understand. My girlfriend has nieces and nephew birthday parties that we just cannot afford to miss either.
  4. Has Kristian Lee put on anymore size? He seemed like more of a hybrid TE/WR as I recall.
  5. I tend to agree that it needs to be UNT's property. The City will never support UNT to the level that is required.
  6. I sort of like the idea of a parade. Why are you so opposed? Just interested.
  7. The crazy thing is that it happens other places as well. Good players only have one shot to do their business and the NIL opportunity is always going to be there. Bigger schools have the issue of losing players to the NBA. I have seen that occur at places like Texas quite often with players like Mo Bamba only being there one year.
  8. First I am hearing of this and have to say I am pretty jazzed. Will they have some big screen TV's and such for showing games I hope?
  9. Man I sure hope so. There are some very impressive names on that list.
  10. Yes but I certainly hope they will go to the trouble of doing this as it may pay us dividends.
  11. There is no friendly way to say this, so let’s just rip off the band-aid: UNT isn’t exactly the national standard when it comes to athletics. The Mean Green are nothing to scoff at, mind you. You’re doing something right any time your athletic director can stroll into a room and deliver an elevator pitch including 16 Division I teams, 130 conference championships, and arguably the baddest defensive lineman to ever play football. Nevertheless, despite being founded 110 years ago, UNT has all of four national titles to its name. Those championships come in one sport, too: men’s golf, during a colossal four-peat from 1949 through 1952. A hell of a run, and also the sort of thing that’s liable to get people wondering what the roadblock is for literally every other sport in every other moment in time. 12. Several friends have shared the opinion that it was somewhat disrespectful for Mac to be wearing red and black and posting Texas Tech rah rah videos so quickly after winning the NIT. I have mixed emotions but feel like he could have waited through the weekend or maybe given us another week out of respect for the NIT and UNT friends and fans.
  13. I would be more interested if they did win but would consider if they lost as well. I just have a big day at work tomorrow.
  14. I fear you may be right but I am hoping for a last minute change of heart from either him or Texas Tech.
  15. I will always remember him fondly. He was so good to us. I am not going to lie, I shed a few tears when I read the news.
  16. They seem very classy the last few days. I respect their program immensely.
  17. I thought I saw you during the game but it may be that you left the page open but was not watching. Either way we know you are supporting the team even if you are not watching the games live.
  18. Deeply saddening news. Even my girlfriend teared up about this and she isn't really even into sports that much.
  19. This article another poster posted is saying they May go after May. The more I study it the more it makes sense to me. May is going places that not many including McCasland have ever gone before. 20. I really wish he would but I sort of feel like the horse is already out of the barn on this.
