UNT Football kicks off the 2024 season on Saturday, August 31, at 4 pm CT in Mobile, Ala. In its first-ever matchup with South Alabama that will air on ESPN+. The home opener for the Mean Green follows a week later Sept. 7, at 6:30 pm CTinside DATCU Stadium. That game will also be broadcast on ESPN+. I think if you spend the time and money to do a big public welcome and graphics etc. it is a pretty big indicator that you wanted the kid. If they did change their mind on him so late in the process shame on them. Either scenario is disappointing. That’s why I follow basketball recruiting much closer.
