So I wish the ACU kid was the answer as well (don’t see it with Aune or Ruder) but wasn’t he injured most of last season and what is to say he is healthy now or whatnot?

2022 New UNT commit LB Sele Pemasa

Agree that is typically the case but if you look at UTSA La Tech and UAB all kept some back this time around. Glad we did it but we are certainly not breaking any new ground here. -
‘23 WR Wesley Greaves - A&M Consolidated

Is it just me or are these 2023 offers just us trying to make an acquaintance? Seems like our strategy should remain with players in the portal going forward. On the high school players I think you try to make an initial good first impression to hopefully have an easier sell once they decide to leave their initial selection. Much smarter to give the majority of our ships to guys that have proven they can play at a higher level like FBC or FCS. Maybe juco as well. -
AUSTIN (KXAN) – Five counties in Texas grew by more than 25,000 residents from 2020 to 2021, newly-released data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows. The agency published its July 1, 2021 population estimates Thursday. Williamson, Travis and Hays Counties all appear in the 10 counties that added the most residents. Of the 254 counties in Texas, 169 saw an increase in population, while 85 had a population decline. Kaufman County, southeast of Dallas, grew at the fastest rate of any county in the state — 8.57%, adding 12,458 new residents between 2020 and 2021. Comal, Rockwall, Liberty and Hays Counties comprise the rest of the top five fastest-growing counties. Loving County, west of Midland/Odessa, had the largest percent decrease in population, declining by 10.94% from 64 to 57 total residents. When looking at raw numbers, Collin County, north of Dallas, had the largest population increase, with almost 45,000 new residents. Dallas County saw the largest population decrease, losing 27,489 residents between 2020 and 2021. read more: https://cw39.com/news/texas/new-population-estimates-reveal-which-areas-of-texas-are-growing-the-fastest/amp/

Bodie Reeder — who was at Auburn as an offensive analyst last season and previously was offensive coordinator at Eastern Washington, North Texas and Utah State — will work in tandem with run game coordinator Ryan Clanton and appears poised to make an imprint on UNI’s passing game. “I’ve known about Bodie for a while,” Farley said. “He has a good concept to fit Ryan Clanton. With Bodie it might be more of an evolution of how to do that (passing game), how to make those reads and keys with the quarterback instead of maybe an older version of it which is a little bit more of a science project, maybe, and takes more time to analytically do it.” read more: https://www.thegazette.com/panther-football/northern-iowa-glad-to-be-back-to-regular-spring-football/?amp=1

Jankovich was 125-64 overall in six seasons at SMU. Wow that's a pretty good record.

Not sure about the assistant pool but Seth is in good shape when you factor in other than compared to Gus, Dana and Luke are leaving. Ken at Navy is making more. I think where we are in trouble is the assistant pool.
-
What I don't understand is why can we not agree to offer him whatever the SMU offer is? Doesn't Mac at least owe us the last look?

Any chance Jamiah Simmons can get a medical redshirt?
meangreenfaninno replied to Jonnyeagle's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Based off what I am reading on the NCAA site It looks like he may be eligible? Not sure. NCAA Division I – An athlete must not have participated in more than three contests or 30 percent of their season schedule (whichever is greater) and not after the halfway point of the season (based on the number of contests rather than a particular date). -

I think Jerry wants us to use it and I have no problem. It’s a great location, good parking and an east trip for our fans. -

New too and I think they will. Commissioner Aresco seems very bully on it being there and it sounds like they have developed a good relationship over the years. -
Very valid point @peanuts104. I’m sort of hoping Tom Trieb will help fill the void.

Wow man that’s crazy!

Why can't we be the next Houston?
meangreenfaninno replied to meangreen11's topic in Mean Green Basketball
I found this and thought it explained the difference pretty well: After losing head coach Tom Herman to Texas and notching 22 wins in two seasons, Houston president Renu Khator famously declared at a 2016 school holiday party that "the winning is defined at University of Houston as 10-2. We'll fire coaches at 8-4." Indeed, Herman's successor, Major Applewhite, got fired after going 7-5 and 8-5 in 2017 and '18.
