The UNT team old would have lost the final game. Would have come close but not get the big cigar. Mac proved to us we can win at the highest levels both with the NIT and beating Purdue in the NCAA’s. He deserves a lot of credit for breaking that long held cycle. Coach Morris is killing it in recruiting BTW. Maybe we should do something similar and bring in some big tome recruiters like Chris Gilbert and Coach O for basketball now!

Ready to see his real personality come out.. hope he does not get pressure to be McCasland 2.0 and can be his own man. Really excited at what he can become here.

Can you imagine what could happen if we were lucky enough to win the whole damn thing?

I respect your opinion, but I think it is important for you and many others to realize this is not just a UNT issue. What I mean by that is fans today can watch every single game on ESPN plus for 10 bucks a month. Until that changes it will impact us and every single program in the nation with very few exceptions. Look at the sparse crowd at the OSU game the other night as an example. So until you factor that into your analysis, I am sorry but you just can’t be taken seriously.

Just booked me flight on SWA and bought a ticket to the game. I am wondering where everyone is staying and whatnot? Looks like the arena is also a hotel and casino. Where are all the cool kids staying and any events being planned? GMG

"I'll start by saying we certainly fell below the expectations that I have and we all have for the program this year. There was certainly some positive things to kind of look back on at some point, but tonight's not that night. I am proud of the kids for fighting the way they did and representing our school and this community the way they have always. Tonight in particular, North Texas was just a little bit better. We didn't shoot the ball particularly well. They did, a little bit better, I thought our defense was actually pretty decent. At the end of the day, Tylor Perry played like, late, like the Conference USA Player of the Year that he's been. They came out with a win, they move forward and our season's over.
