The reason for the expression is because there are no clocks out on the floor. UAB basketball learned all about it on Thursday night in its 68-61 loss. What a complete fraud of a final score. On two different possessions late in the game, North Texas was awarded points despite committing shot clock violations. I agree that they should have done it on a Saturday but they typically don’t like to plan things on Saturday as it can trigger overtime which typically is not included in the budget.

The UNT team old would have lost the final game. Would have come close but not get the big cigar. Mac proved to us we can win at the highest levels both with the NIT and beating Purdue in the NCAA’s. He deserves a lot of credit for breaking that long held cycle. Coach Morris is killing it in recruiting BTW. Maybe we should do something similar and bring in some big tome recruiters like Chris Gilbert and Coach O for basketball now!

Ready to see his real personality come out.. hope he does not get pressure to be McCasland 2.0 and can be his own man. Really excited at what he can become here.
