If Wyoming still had Craig Bohl, then id guarantee a loss in this game on tol of the fact that Wyoming likely would be 1-1 at worst with Bohl. I bet UNT finds a way to win this game as Wyoming has reverted back to what they previously were like, which is pitiful. Im sure UNT will allow it to be close though

The 3-3-5 has never been consistently successful at any level and yet many still choose to run it. The 4-3 is much better and allows the defense to actually get a push upfront

I don’t understand why we can’t get a HC that runs anything other than the goddamn Shotgun all the time. Id like to see the Pistol and I-formation used. The Air-Raid is a garbage offense used to hide inefficiencies in talent that truly has only been perfected by one HC who has passed. It’d also be nice to see someone get into it with officials, yell at players and ya know.. be a Head Coach. Not just try to be their friend like Littrell and Morris

Im sorry but you cant possibly think keeping Littrell was the right thing to do regardless of anything else. He was a .500 HC who ran a mess of a program, couldn’t win bowl games and after his first 3yrs couldn’t put together a winning season. He also didn’t care after he missed out on the Kansas State job after the 2018 season. It was the right thing to fire Littrell, they just made a very poor hire after him. Just because the next hire is worse doesn’t make the previous one the right guy for the job

Sooooo can we fire Morris now? I was at the UNT vs Portland St game on a recruiting visit and McCarney got fired as I was standing outside the locker room. That game was terrible and the reason for his firing, so should this game for Morris.

Didn’t know that about his father! Colby Carthel was my HS kickers HC at Commerce and recruited me as a LS out of HS but I was more interested in Tech and UNT as they were interested in me. I like McCarney simply because he and his staff were very interested in me but my Official visit was the UNT vs Portland St game..so that was over afterwards and I was told once Littrell became HC that they weren’t interested anymore as I’d blown out my knee again. Colby Carthel though was my top pick to be the next HC as I trusted what he’d done at Commerce which was a perfect example of what we needed as well as him getting SFA even slightly respectable was impressive as hell. It’d be nice to get someone like Don Carthel who would go out in the community and get involved as thats what UNT needs in a HC. Maybe Colby would do the same thing if he were here and his dad is the ST coach ive seen so you’d get some old wisdom and a defensive minded coaching staff.

Just because we wanted Littrell gone doesnt mean we thought Morris was the answer. I wanted Carthel, Keeler or someone else who had proven that they can have success as a HC.
