Aúne has to hit some big plays to try and keep the defense off balance. No threat of a passing game will make the offense too predictable. I don’t think they run all over us. They do have big receivers that can go up and get it. Gaddie has been able to hold his own. Whether it’s Davis or Texada, they’re going to need a big day. The d line need to be our stars in the run and passing game. I don’t want to see a slow first quarter. 0-0 first quarter is okay. Getting down 14-0 is game over. GMG!

I think a video board hype video would be pretty cool. But you’re probably right, it’d need to show a brief bio to give reference to non-WWF/E fans.

Our front six/seven is definitely a strength for this defense.

I don’t remember the game very well, so I’ll take your word. UAB allowed 52 yards rushing against UTSA. Maybe it was a combo of their defense and our offensive struggles.

We’re clearly now a run first team, but it took us a few games to realize this. I wonder if we had started the year with the run first mentality, would some of those games gone differently? 🤷🏽‍♂️

I can’t find the tweet, but another former player referenced how UTSA best us when we were on the verge of a conference championship. He said, “let’s return the favor” or something like that. I’ll keep looking…

It’s fun that the last game of the year has purpose for both teams involved. UTSA wants to stay undefeated and we want bowl eligibility. I’m hoping for a great atmosphere next Saturday. GMG!

He had some nice passes. He was hitting his receivers in stride on the deep ball. His worst deep ball pass was the 55 yarder to Burns, but Burns didn’t have a defender within 10 yards, so it didn’t matter. The pass to Lyles with a defender in his face was spot on. Aúne seemed more confident last night.

This is what we should be doing against bad teams. The front seven has been strong. The rb’s have been solid. The biggest difference has been a few nice passes by the QB. Aune’s nice passes leads to 21 pts

He’s had some nice passes! The pass to Jackson hit him right in stride. Aúne made that throw look easy. Love to see it!
