North Texas DCTF 2022 Win Total Projection: 6 2021 Final Regular Season Win Total: 6 Over or under? Under Questions at quarterback keep me from believing in North Texas. I’d bet a push here or avoid the bet altogether if it is set at six wins because a bowl game is reachable for the Mean Green. A 1-3 start is quite possible with games against SMU, UTEP, and Memphis over the first four contests of the season. CUSA play includes trips to Western Kentucky and UTSA.

Yeah, early in the podcast he came across as griping. I thought it got better as it went along, but that early stuff was brutal to listen to. He said he felt good about the team, but always gave the “if we can stay healthy” disclaimer. Let’s see what happens in this last signing period. Still have a few more scholarships left. He made it seem like best available was the goal. We’ll see.

I love that GMac constantly adapts. He looks at the strengths of the team and determines the best way for the team to win. He’s also not afraid to change course if a strategy is not working. I’m excited to see what the team ends up playing like next year.

And I remember reading that PB is either switching to a 3 man front, or using more 3 man fronts. That would likely lead to less playing time to go around. I wasn’t a huge fan of the 3 man front when we ran it in the past, but maybe PB will know how to make it work?

I have confidence that the staff will target (not always get) who they feel will make this team a contender. I’m excited to see how the younger players progress this off season…they should know what they need to do to see the court.
