Listened last night. I enjoyed it. Thanks for putting out the content. I appreciate your level headed take.

Do you think a CBI type attendance would happen? I think if they get into the big dance, they’d make some noise. Or maybe my green goggles are clouding my vision? I can’t tell anymore. I blame Western Son.

Vegas had the over/under at 122. I told my brother, “Yeah, take the under.” 😂

I was telling my son on the drive home, “We need to make sure to watch the ladies play today.” And his response was, “So we’re still in it, then.” He’s right. GMG!

This has been an issue for a few games now, we’ve just been bailed out by good shooting. I’d like to see a bit more movement and a bit more penetrate and shoot moving forward. Today was tough, though.

We couldn’t buy a 3. We struggled getting the ball to Abou vs. Lofton. And we had several in-n-outs both from 3 and close in. LaTech gave us a taste of our medicine today. That being said, we still had a chance. Looking forward to cheering this team on regardless of the tournament. GMG!

I saw Wren (and the guy next to him) look back to acknowledge how good the crowd looked from their seats. See you at 11:30!

I tried to get as much of the crowd as possible in the video. It was a good turnout. Not as rowdy as I would have hoped. (I guess the game not being close contributed to that?) How did it sound/look on the broadcast? IMG_7558.MOV

I guess we’ll disagree on this. I initially took issue with another poster calling Ruder a “dud”. I’m not in that camp. I’m also not sure if Ruder will win the job, but I’m not ready to give up on him. I don’t think I ever anointed him, but I am excited to see how well he does with a full year being on campus.

We’ll see if he gets beat out here, or if he separates himself from the other QB’s. I don’t think what we saw last fall is all that he has to offer. If after a full off season here, he has the same struggles as in the Fall of 2021, then I’d see your point. I think he has potential, but of course, he has to capitalize if given another opportunity to play.

That’s kind of what I’m saying, but I don’t see us as “little ol’ UNT”. Just because he got beat out does not mean he lacks the ability.

If we get through the CUSA tournament, the Sweet 16 is the floor. Lock it up! GMG!

I think I understand, but what is your point? If the #2 turns into a Heisman Candidate down the line then we’re good? Or if he doesn’t, then we’re doomed? Ruder losing a spot to an underclassman at UNC doesn’t mean he can’t be a great player for UNT.
