I loved the all green unis! I didn’t think I would, but they looked great! I like the script. The mean green script is nice, but it doesn’t hit like the north Texas. It might be nostalgic on my end. I was 01-05.

Agreed. SFA game had more butts in the seats for students and alumni. The wing seemed to have more peeps yesterday, though.

Apparently BYU and Wyoming really don’t like eachother. The Wyoming guy on the Patreon said, “I hope BYU loses every sport in every game.” 😂😂😂

It’s just one game. This feels like an overreaction. Let’s see what happens vs Wyoming and in conference play. No team left on our schedule is out of our reach…eh…maybe Memphis.

It was a bad game that was also embarrassing, but I don’t think we need to throw out the baby with the bath water. We likely had this penciled in as a loss prior to the season (probably not in this fashion, though.). We still have a chance to finish OOC at 3-1….2-2 at the worst. Real D-1 programs get their butts whooped. It’s part of the game.

I think Anderson struggled today, but that means we’re headed to our 3rd string. He plays the same position as Isheem Young and Spiruells, right? Those preseason injuries/suspensions really hurt right.

Let’s see how the team performs in the 2nd half. Granted it’s against back ups, but any type of momentum would be good leading into next week. This is where we’ll be able to see the mentally tough players. Who still gives it 100% despite the score?

All those tackling drills we worked on since Spring are going to be put to the test. I feel very confident in Jayden Hill and Evan Jackson’s open field tackling. If we consistently make the tackles for limited gains, we’ll win the game.

Morris said this last week. “Suspended indefinitely.” I haven’t heard any update since.

Disagree. I want us to win, but that’s about it. FS1 in the 11 slot is pretty cool. If our game is competitive, there will be a lot of eyes on our game. A win will give us some bragging rights. Our conference games are much more important.

So the OOC weren’t bad memories for me. It gave me a chance to actually watch my team on TV. I have fond memories of watching UNT vs LSU at the bowling alley with my fellow UNT peeps. If the game wasn’t televised, I was following along Brett’s in game blogging.
