  1. I saw a lot of HS kids on Saturday. Usually they spill into my section in 102, but on Saturday they primarily sat in the next section, 103? Not sure if they were actual recruits, or kids utilizing their game day passes.
  2. I wonder how playing time plays into immediate effectiveness. In theory, FCS guys would be All conference starters playing 10-12 games whereas 3rd string P5’s might be 1-3 years removed from any significant playing time. Just thinking out loud…
  3. It’s part of what worked at the end of last season. We ran hurry up vs SMU. Why?!?! I like this idea. #rUNThedamnball
  4. He went out vs UTEP, then missed SMU and TSU. I’m not aware of an announcement.
  5. I played it using Spotify.
  6. I enjoyed the podcast. Thanks for putting it together. GMG!
  7. You’re right. I had my green goggles on this morning. Dammit!
  8. I thought he had one target in the 4th quarter. It was not a great pass, though. Mazin is fun to watch develop. Hope he has a few years left.
  9. I saw you! Didn’t realize it was your spot, though. Would you have been cool if we showed up unannounced? Depending on the weekend, we’re usually 3-5 peeps. Not to bum off of you, just chat and say hi.
  10. We’re favored by 1. So there’s that. 🙌🏽
  11. I can see that point of view. I see the offers going out to higher rated recruits (not sure about transfer portal, though). There appears to be a desire to bring in P5’s, but they only seem to bite on offense.
  12. It was like that yesterday, too. Yesterday May have been for the Queen.
  13. I remember talking to a Nebraska fan right after the hire. I believe his words were, “The Great White Hope.”
  14. I don’t see it as a negative. Mazin and Trieb have been good additions. He would have been another one. As long as the player contributes, it doesn’t matter where they were before arriving on campus.
  15. I think he would have been a difference maker. Like Mazin/Trieb, but in the secondary. Big loss for sure.
  16. I thought it was a decent showing by the students. Not sure if they bumped up the attendance.
  17. I thought there was a moment when Ruder was primed to go in (after GG’s pick). I guess the coaches reconsidered? At this point, I don’t care who gets the start, I’m just tired of seeing consistently overthrown/underthrown balls to our open receivers. It’s frustrating.
  18. I missed the SMU game, but it appeared the issues were mostly resolved from that game. We had a group of 7. We had a nice time.
  19. He walks with a little limp. I wonder if that’s a new thing that’s affecting his throw?
  20. My game day experience was great! There were 3 blue lot workers at 4:30, parking was easy, tailgate/kid area was great for the kids, alumni pavilion was a cool vibe, food was good, and UNT won. Looking forward to the next one! GMG!
  21. I’d love to see our QB(s) and receivers get some in game reps. I feel like we should win (35 pt spread right meow). Let’s see if they can gain some confidence. First, a win. Second, some QB experience. GMG!
  22. IIRC, he struggled with his grades. Hope he has a great season and makes his way back to Denton. All the best, Caleb!
  23. I enjoyed the show, guys. It’s funny how different Mean Green fans have similar experiences. After our first really well attended game in Apogee, I remember griping to my brother about the lines, cell service, and parking. He then said, “I miss when we were bad.” 😂😂😂
  24. Is this considered an SMU thread?
