  1. I wouldn’t mind seeing Earle. He’s played the most recently. I think he’d also be the most game ready. In my head, he’d be the one able to catch up to game speed the quickest. I really don’t know, though. I jus want to see us win and maybe add some more excitement. GG would be fun to watch, but only with a legit week of practice with the starters…not garbage time. Same for JR. Maybe get Drummond in there, too.
  2. If he’s successful, then the team will likely succeed. He’s the QB, so I wish him success. If it was GG, then I’d wish the same. If it’s Ruder, same. You get the point. I also don’t have any ill will towards him. I just want to see us win on Saturday(s).
  3. Right. I mentioned that we should run a slant and go in the 1st quarter of the game. Memphis ran one on Texada and scored. The color commentator was begging for one, or any double move. Aune had the time…usually. It was frustrating.
  4. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️
  5. I don’t remember the first pick 6 (and this is not to crap on Aune), but he consistently puts our receivers in difficult situations. Even Maclins TD catch was underthrown…a better pass and the defender doesn’t even have a chance to make a play. He’s inconsistent right now. He’ll throw a brilliant pass, then follow it up with “if the pass were only two feet lower, Burns would have scored a TD” -1st quarter radio Hank I want him to succeed, but it’s tough to watch at times.
  6. Whether on the scoreboard, or in our hearts, I believe we will win. In all seriousness, I think we win. Not tongue in cheek, I think the team is primed for a complete game. No better time than conference play! GMG!
  7. I don’t think anyone expects perfection, but 2 pick 6’s? The second one was just demoralizing. He then threw a great pass to Maclin between the safety/corner. I can only speak for myself, but I really liked the WR screens, the end around on the goal line, the fade to Shorter, etc. Just a bit more creativity like you alluded to earlier to make us less predictable.
  8. I laughed a little harder than I should have at this one. 😂😂😂 If I count the moral victory, my 10-2 regular season prediction is still in play. GMG! Beat FAU!
  9. Agree! Thought he was going to redshirt. Glad he’s playing and playing well!
  10. The d back was aggressive. If we’re smart, we’ll hit them with a a slant and go next time.
  11. He didn’t look as quick/explosive as advertised. Maybe this is why? Wish him, and the rest of our injured players, a speedy recovery
  12. Eh..I hope they both lose.
  13. I think this is our goal, but when they stack the line, you have to take what the defense give you.
  14. Yeah…I hope you’re wrong, too. I forget where he said it this week (and I’m paraphrasing), “We made the right play calls on short yardage situations, but the athletes missed a block/call. The last blunder was on me…the coaches, but me.” I shook my head and said, “Dude, they’re ALL on you!” *I cleaned up the language for the kids in the car
  15. Yeah, I think we’ve forgotten just how good he was, how good those receivers were, AND how well they worked together. There was a lot of talent on those teams. I believe there’s also a ton of talent on today’s team, too. Would love to see this team click. It’d be fun to watch.
  16. Looks like green helmet, white top, and white pants. The greenish pants seem to be the filter on the graphic. I think? I was initially confused, too
  17. It’s a good look. Let’s see if we can be a bit more competitive in these! GMG!
  18. Thanks. I usually use Spotify, but no luck so far. I’ll check it out on Varsity tomorrow. Thanks, again.
  19. I also feel like we ran much more 4 down lineman last season. It just seems like the 3 lineman is not sustainable. Let’s run out there with the 4-2-5 that converts to a 4-3-4 when needed. I believe we already rotate 5-6 guys. I don’t know. This defense is tough to watch.
