    Love Kai’s ability to get into the paint. If he can pass out of the paint, or find his close range, he’s going to be serious trouble for opponents. Rubins defense was great! Loved the alley oop (first one I’ve seen us complete in two years?). Wish Ousmane would get on track, we’re going to need him.

    Right…There clearly is an evolution of the wing. Another poster had mentioned the Rice winged helmet of the 90’s. I just followed that logic to the Philly helmet of the 50’s and 60’s. I don’t care who did it first, either. Just win, baby!

    Yeah, I’m not so worried about losing players to the portal. Every team is losing and adding players. It happens. Obviously, I’d want to keep the talent we develop, but each kid needs to do what they feel is best for them. We need to make sure to entice players to come play for us. Just hope it’s a net gain for the good guys in green.

    It’s going to be wet. Our RB room should be healthier. Lately, the coaches have been able to find ways to get the receivers open. This should allow us to score some points. The Defense is MUCH better with a lead. Looking forward to Saturday!

    I know it’s petty, but I couldn’t stand the UH band. I have flashbacks to their drums just endlessly blasting noise during the game. Again, I know I’m being petty.

    I was joking with my brother that due to the game likely being UNT vs UTSA, the game would be at 8AM on the Friday. Just awful. 😂

    I’m okay with the banners for now. I agree that ideally they’d be for Sweet 16 and better, but we’re not there yet. Soon.
