    I think we attempt to control the ball. Similar to the end of Tulane game. I think if the offense can remain patient, this will work. If we’re not patient, we’ll struggle to win the game.

    This is what I’ve seen from quotes. Something like, “I feel like I can help this team right away.” I’d imagine we’d hope it’s JUCO’s and transfers saying this. Having 5 true freshman has not hurt too much on offense, but it would certainly not help the defense.

    We’re just not on Tulane’s level. Even with the coaching change (great hire), they just kept it rolling. Army, Memphis, and Tulane are the three best teams in the conference now…they’re all ranked or receiving AP votes. We play all three in consecutive weeks. This is a tough stretch for us. No doubt.

    A co worker, UNT alum, called us the North Texas University Mean Greens on a flyer he made. I almost ripped it down!

    Rod Brown has been a BEAST! And we’re approaching the part of the season where these freshmen are no longer freshmen anymore. it’s about time to stop using their youth an an excuse.

    He’s having a great season! He played a nearly flawless game yesterday. We have to help him, though. 10 win season is still on the table!

    Despite the obvious frustration, we still had a chance at the end of the game. I’m not as confident as I was a few weeks ago, but I’m cautiously optimistic. GMG!

    I think there’s hesitation to jump in due to SL’s early success that plateaued. I think Morris is different. Hopefully the fan base buys in before he leaves for a larger payday. That payday is coming. I just hope we hang on to him for a few more years.

    I voted no, but i misread the poll. I don’t think he’ll be retained after this season.

    Unless there’s just a massive improvement, I simply cannot see Caponi coming back. Morris will not get the next DC wrong. I have a feeling he’s going to knock it out of the park with the next DC. Obviously I’m hoping for the massive improvement, but you know…

    We couldn’t even line up correctly on defense? That’s terrible, man. We need to be able to put our guys in position to at least have a chance of success. Hope it gets corrected this week.

    Our offense had a chance to tie and didn’t. Win as a team and lose as a team.
