I think we’re a good team that’s trending up. An at large bid is unlikely…we’d have to win all/most of our games, strong showing in the Conference Tourney, and have no surprise teams taking any auto bids. NIT is still a GREAT tournament. It doesn’t get the media hype, but it’s good basketball.

Right. With Javion, Tylor, and Rubin we could lose Woolridge to add Kai. And Sissosoko is starting to turn a corner, so I could get on board with his add. I struggled with keeping Edwards off due to his production, but I’m good either way.

I can see that. Tylor’s as the 6th man his first year was a good role for him, too.

I had a nice time, too. Rode the dart with my youngest. Wife and oldest met us later. The UNT tailgate was a good time, saw some old friends, cheered on the green, was holding my breath for Mestemaker’s version of the Drive, had dinner at the Londoner, then headed home. It was a good back and forth game. Our uniforms looked sweet! Wish we had a few more fans…or even fans that cheered at appropriate times. Their fans were pretty rowdy. I think our Maniacs initiative will pay off soon. We’re not there yet. I think we’re trending in the right direction. Glad so many young guys got to play last night. Was nice to see Rod Brown dancing the last defensive drive. Hope he gets a chance to keep playing football. On to basketball season. GMG!
