Man, it sounds like injuries have really hurt them. Their O-line is in “shambles.” Other teams just don’t have injuries like they seem to have year after year after year after year after year. Another tough break for Birds.

And there was a hurricane that had just hit them.

We’ll see how the season plays out, but you’re not wrong midway through the year. The top 3rd appears to be strong. Army, Navy, Tulane, Memphis, and then us. If we can win at least 1 of the next 3, we’d be in good shape.

No kidding. I had to ask four times to have the bar put on the UNT game on Saturday. Even then, it was like I was inconveniencing them.

I know we’re entering the toughest part of our season, but this is a good graphic to be on midway through the year.

That’s their prediction.

8-4 in year 2 of Morris works for me! Frisco Bowl vs USF isn’t ideal, but would be winnable.

Baylor?

We beat UTSA when they were ranked a few years ago. Would love to spoil Army’s party, too.

@aztecskinmentioned how Allen seemed quick to react during his limited action. Seems like we play our best defense when we play man on the outside. It’s a lot of pressure on our corners, but if they can handle it, we’re a better defense. Would also like to see a few more blitzes. Giving Hennigan too much time would not be good for us.

I was thinking the same thing. Febechi might play in the NFL. Would he mention UNT and OU in his bio? Jayden Hill may have a shot, too.

Memphis is the most winnable game. If we win, vs Tulane may be the G5 game of the week. Then Army will likely come to Denton undefeated! These next three weeks are huge as to the state of our program. It’s fun, though. Beat Memphis! GMG!

Okay. But if we fix all of this during the week, -12 is too high right?

Yes, I believe so. He graduated in May, then came to UNT.

Texas is on another level. I wish SL the best. He elevated the program from a bottom dweller to a .500. Glad he was here, but I’m also glad we moved on. Props to him for answering questions after an embarrassing loss.

FAU had two weeks to game plan for us. They did a good job. We had some missed tackles, but their players ran hard. We ran 3-3, 3-4, and 4-2 last night. I think the multiple looks will help us. Players need to tackle, but some of our shortcomings last night appeared to be out coached.
