On the podcast JD posted (that I posted here) earlier, he said he had recruited a Ross Hodge JUCO player to Houston. Robinson also praised the job Hodge did here. -

I don’t know much about him, but I’m willing to give him a chance. I wonder if he’ll be able to bring some of his players and possibly some of the better players from the Horizon league ala Dusty May did with Michigan and the AAC. Let’s finish strong in the NIT while he builds his staff and gets recruits! -
I assumed they were going to be gone regardless…especially Lorient.

I get that. I hope we hire someone who has been a HC before…at any collegiate level (JUCO, D2, D1). This is a big hire for us. We have to get it right to keep this train rolling. -

Do we know which coaches he’s taking with him? I’m assuming Forte and Herl….maybe even Shaw. -
I agree with @NorthTexasWeLove. We’ve had a niche and have been successful with it. We won’t be able to go toe to toe with Memphis in recruiting battles, so we need to be creative. I love the defense first mentality…I almost take pride in how we play. GMG!

You’re good, man. I started at UNT in 2001. I think this will soon be forgotten about….it can’t happen again, though. I’m just glad we won. The backlash from a loss would have been miserable for Moseley and company.
