  1. Yeah we don't allow the Blvd to be used for non SMU events. Basically there is not any tailgating for the minor bowls and other events. The Blvd is owned by SMU and reserved for SMU sporting events. You will just need to go to some of the sports bars and restaurants off Greenville and over by Le Madeline etc if you are wanting to do any pre-game meals etc. Also most of the lower cost parking is on the other side of 75. I would expect most UNT people would be taking the public transit that drops off at Mockingbird Station.
  2. Must say I caught some of the highlights on ESPN and Morris looks pretty good. Obviously South Alabama is not Alabama but his play thus far is encouraging. We won our game 59-7. I also see us winning this weekend against BYU, they have no chance of handling our offense. Good luck against SFA that could be a tougher one than you think.
  3. Welcome back
  4. agreed just wish we still had the twins
  5. Yes it is @DeepGreen I do not find it attractive either. someone in the AD has an infatuation with black.
  6. Safety game over bitches!
  7. Hahaha you jealous fers crack me up. We are down only 3 and dominating the line of scrimmage with plenty of time. We will win this and many more this season.
  8. Looks like Tulane is playing Southeastern in Louisiana.
  9. You act like this is a new phenomenon. The wealthy have always ruled this world and they always will.
  10. Not sure about him but I was and the AAC refs are absolutely atrocious. They were basically trying to punish us for leaving this crappy conference. Good riddance, as we now move to conference with decent referees.
  11. Impressive win and crowd. Our next game is the one that counts though.
  12. I have not been on here since we left the AAC. I only came this time to vote in the poll which included SMU as an option. Get over yourself.
  13. I hope many of you can make it to the game. There are a lot of good bus route options with low fares available to you all through DART. I am attaching a link for you with maps and information. https://www.dart.org/guide/transit-and-use/bus-routes/smuexpress https://www.dart.org/guide/transit-and-use/rail/rail-station-detail/smu-mockingbird-station
  14. Exactly. NTSU graduates mostly bartenders and teachers so they just don't get it. The only names they have on anything are on their uniforms at work:
  15. Good info! One thing you are missing is there was some type pf accounting error from Comcast that overpaid Pac 12 by the tune of 50 million dollars and they will have to pay it unless they just shut the whole thing down. https://cordcuttersnews.com/pac-12-network-must-pay-comcast-50-million-dollar-after-fiasco/?amp=1
  16. Absolutely correct. If you haven't figured out by now these UNT fans aren't the brightest. Tim absolutely hated Sonny Dykes (I know for a fact as we went to church with them) and the feeling was mutual. Here is just one example:
  17. With all due respect, I do not think your fan base understands how much tougher this league will be. It will realistically take 4-5 years at a minimum for you to be competitive or to compete for a top spot in this league.
  18. You know, I have held my tongue on some of your catty comments but I am tired of your crap. Cougar High couldn't hold SMU's jock back in the 70's and 80's and the only reason you guys have had any success as of late is your mafia benefactor who needs a tax write off ie a place to launder his money. You could only wish to have had the historic success that SMU has had. Any by the way, you should not be boasting about attendance either. Also, why are you here? We share a conference with UNT, albeit for a cup of coffee but still we have reason to be engaging with them at this time. I don't see Houston on the schedule for UNT.
  19. There have been some unforeseen delays but these are just minor setbacks. SMU is still the most highly coveted addition.due to our budget, facilities and academics. NIL has been an absolute blessing. The Pac12 knows the value SMU brings to the table. And whether you want to acknowledge it or not, SMU’s academic prestige is a huge draw for every conference in the country. I would be very surprised if we don’t hear something official by 4th of July.
