  1. The conference is pushing for OOC matchups to be no more than 1 total bodybag FCS type tune up and then only P4s for the rest to maximize media returns. Scheduling UNT will not happen for that reason.
  2. Over UTEP, under UTSA & Rice. Unlikely. I think Rice is dropping way off this year. https://x.com/CFBONFOX/status/1824521512403042564?t=DRcll6tGInzGlB8O68uoTQ&s=19

  4. We do have buildings in City of Dallas so
  5. Recruit blatant criminal thugs other programs are afraid to touch. Mimicking the TCU rebuilding plan I see. But seriously, unless they are in al Qaeda or Chinese, trespassing into a superfund site or infrastructure just seems like harmless exploring. Trespassing into a habitation, but notably not breaking and entering..... Don't know what that would be but doesn't sound like a robbery
  6. The players are also called "students" so everyone takes a little latitude
  7. Great idea. As evidenced by the "Dallas" on our uniforms, SMU alumni are comfortable in urban and inner-city environments. We keep it real.
  8. I'm thinking Stanford since I've never been to that area, and I also have some relatives sort of near Virginia, so I will try to hit that one
  9. Every night is a slow night on ponyfans. It's a zombie board. Everyone is on the pay boards. That said, it's a busy night on the pay boards, since ACC network is doing an SMU season preview from campus Tonight at 5:00. I'm giddy. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! ACC network. Highly recommend.
  10. is you don't talk about freshman fight club! https://dentonrc.com/sports/colleges/mean_green/north-texas-football-program-sanctioned-by-university-for-2021-hazing-incident/article_fc3ddd84-5374-11ef-afab-4f1522251a9c.html
  11. I was all excited to jump in with a snarky comment but unfortunately.... I can't. There's nothing to criticize. Legit brewery, nice can. Very disappointing.
  12. This is less of a big deal I think with free transfers. Lots of players going to top schools then transferring down
  13. Oooo, the out of context crowd shot. Got me there. Must have been a big beer run on this halftime shot of 2023 UNT-Temple. Official attendance 13k!
  14. More attendance smack from a school with an order of magnitude more alumni......and similar or worse attendance.
  15. BYU will be interesting. It's a Friday night game (very bad, horrible traffic) but there are a lot of mormons in Dallas and I have to imagine they have pent up demand to see a game in Dallas. I predict and very polite and blonde crowd.
  16. If you want to discredit it you'd be better off suggesting it's all ACC fans ready to finally get a game in Dallas. Even crummy seats for the FSU game are over $300 each on stubhub. I could see some buying the cheapest season tickets to make sure they get one.
  17. David Miller is a transformational leader making massive improvements in both the athletic and academic sides. He is a golden god. I'm hoping we build him a statue. I will making burnt offerings to it. Perhaps I'll burn horned frogs up on the altar. A pleasing aroma.
  18. Good Lord, your source is the same guy now saying FSU NOT to B12. It's meaningless clickbait. https://x.com/GSwaim/status/1813629117218308123?t=U7Efm4dEJYcAKNU0WzoZaw&s=19
  19. If the ACC GOR is broken it breaks every GOR, and everything will look a lot different.
  20. Yes. The democratization of athlete compensation.
  21. I, for one, appreciate the valuable insights from our friends in Houston.
  22. They do. UTD just had a student drafted to the pros. I would make an NIL joke, but given that he's a Sheikh, I don't think he needs money https://news.utdallas.edu/students-teaching/comet-cricketer-2023/
