HOF? Absolutely. Fast track him. Retire #1? I think there is a better option.... Here is an idea. We could place a higher standard on issuing the #1 jersey to a player. Don't just let players claim it. Only award the jersey to the top WR on our roster, when the consensus of the coaches agree the WR has achieved the same level of work ethic, leadership, and success that Darden exhibited. This means the #1 jersey may not be issued every season, but when it is, it will go to a very special "team captain". It could be a good recruiting tool too. At some point, if the list of WR's that wear #1 were to grow even more distinguished, than maybe a space on the wall at field level can feature the #1 and list the names of those that were awarded the jersey. Just a thought.

Sure we know what is going on.... Littrell is trying to land the best DC he can find for the money he has available. The problem is that Seth has not addressed the characteristics he is looking for in our next DC, and patience is in short supply around this board. When there is no official information from the athletic department, people tend to fear the worst...

UTSA has a bad RPI. I was not expecting this road loss. It seems to me that this team is missing Geu. I think he was a spark plug in games like these last season. Simmon's is a good strong big, but Geu was a quick athletic big that could attack the rim on both sides of the court.

It was going to be on ESPN+. Couldn't they just stream the UTSA feed? No one was expecting broadcast quality anyway. While not ideal, it would be better than nothing.

I don't know who Littrell was targeting for our DC opening, but with Doc getting the axe, Brad Lambert is now available. That dude built a top 5 defense this past season, and it was just his second year in as their DC.
