2020 Sucks

Morris and Kinne are going to battle over staff that are tied to UIW. Sucks that Kinne got a week head start (sort of). Seth beating WKU and playing little brother close the first time ultimately cost us a lot of valuable time in the transition. BTW…am I the only one who thinks it’s pretty crappy to take a new HC job while your current team is in the playoffs? Never have cared for GJ…so I may just be biased??

Phil is exactly who he is…an old school guy, no BS, fun to know, probably a terror to play for! But he will forever be remembered for turning boys into men and making his players better. He’s not the greatest defensive mind, but he has survived an ugly business for 4+ decades and that’s not easy! Much respect. I hope our kids are able to carry him off the field a winner…he has earned it!

Opt outs and portal kids are killing the bowls. Who wants to follow a team and then travel to a bowl game to watch the JV? Total BS!

I sure hope Jared and Morris give Sam Lackey a shot at the S&C position. He has a solid resume...did great work at NAU, and Fresno State. Now he's at a HS in Arlington. Great dude that knows his stuff!

Read the article…just asking in general terms. When will the old heads figure out that bowls don’t matter? It’s just a swag fest for the players and a way for ESPN and the NCAA to justify their contractual obligations. If it took 8 wins to qualify…they would regain their value to fans.

I feel like they have known this for a couple of days…and that the HFC announcement will come soon. If wren had already started the process, it was done with Jared right alongside him.

It isn't insanity. The 2018 squad was the most talented team during his tenure and he blew it. Then we played QB roulette and ran off Jason Bean (who was a spoiled brat but more talented than Aune), then we did the Ruder experiment, that was a fiasco, and we end up with a 30 year old that never really got much better...but by God, we weren't going to have another QB controversy come hell or high water. So we watched as AA threw 13 interceptions, 38 touchdowns (which includes 6 for the opponent), and lost multiple meaningful games. For 7 years, we watched SL stubbornly get beat on 3rd & goal, 4th and goal, and 4th & 1 by running between the tackles from the shotgun. We endured horrible playcalling, countless injuries, bowl losses, SMU blowouts, and defenses that couldn't consistently defend the pass for the entire time he was the coach. We watched loads of talent transfer or decommitt, to be replaced by players from FCS, JuCo, and 2* hs kids. He gave us a taste of excellence...then lulled us to sleep with mediocrity. So much so that hundreds of people question our sanity for firing him. An apology for not delivering more wins for what he was paid is definitely in order. An apology for not engaging more with the students is owed. I see Grant and his staff at every football game. Ive seen Seth at 4 basketball games in 7 years and he was using them to entertain recruits on visits. It isn't insanity!

He owes us all an apology we will never get! He will say something nice about us when he gets rehired…but I don’t expect anything else from him.

K-State allegedly wanted Seth after the 2018 season and he hadn’t won a CUSA trophy. If anyone thinks the big boys aren’t looking at JT after back to back CUSA ships, they are fooling themselves!

He’s definitely a 3rd or 4 th round pick! He is a record setting QB…go get you an Agent and get paid AA!

If I heard that speech from a players chair, I’d have asked him in front of everyone if he could sit down and show me how to get in the portal. Every question the kids asked was answered negatively. He turned me off in a big way. He made it all about him and essentially told them they were all soft and smelled like dog turds.

Darden has to be better than “Mr Fair Catch” that the Cowboys have now!
