Current West Virginia special teams coordinator and inside linebackers coach Jeff Koonz spent two seasons as linebackers coach at North Texas in 2017-18. Neither brother played for Koonz in Denton but he was a big part in their initial recruitment out of high school. Be careful GMG friend. Our compadres on here do not allow any grieving over such a huge part of our squad. Instead they endeavor us to see the bright side of the situation and blame outside forces.
