  1. Since entering the portal, the two have piled up offers from Oregon State, Kansas, Penn State, UCLA, USC, and West Virginia. More offers are likely on the way which means the Mountaineers will have an even tougher time reeling the two in but fortunately for WVU, there is a connection. Current West Virginia special teams coordinator and inside linebackers coach Jeff Koonz spent two seasons as linebackers coach at North Texas in 2017-18. Neither brother played for Koonz in Denton but he was a big part in their initial recruitment out of high school. Gabriel even thanked Koonz in his tweet that announced he was entering the portal. read more: https://www.si.com/college/westvirginia/.amp/recruiting/wvu-targeting-brothers-transferring-from-north-texas
  2. Didn’t Tony Johnson play for us?
  3. Great show. I think the two of you have a good chemistry. Also like the fact you take time to answer the Q&A. In fact if I had a suggestion it would be doing more of the Q&A if time allows.
  4. This is a calculated risk that they have taken and I’m sure Lincoln Riley and all the other coaches are promising the moon. Sometimes Karma can be a biatch.
  5. I think you make a valid point. Instead of crying about it perhaps we should be starting up a fund and contributing what we can.
  6. That would not be as fun?
  7. BS man. You can't have owned a radio or heck been in an elevator or grocery store with having heard Heart of Gold at least a couple of times.
  8. Murphy's now get offer from USC. This has to be one of the most painful episodes I can recall in my North Texas football fandom and the hits keep coming. Next up Nick Saban and Bama?
  9. TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama football is reportedly targeting Kentucky offensive line coach Eric Wolford to serve the same position for the Crimson Tide this season. Prior to his time as Youngstown State's head coach, Wolford worked for 15 years as an assistant. He served as offensive line coach at Emporia State in 1996, South Florida from 1997-99, Houston from 200-02, North Texas in 2003, Arizona from 2004-06, Illinois from 2007-08 and South Carolina in 2009. read more: https://www.si.com/college/alabama/.amp/bamacentral/alabama-reportedly-targeting-kentucky-o-line-coach-eric-wolford-blackwell

  10. No sir, and I say this respectfully, you sir should please stop blaming this site for all of Littrell’s failures.
  11. Where is that room?
  12. So we should pretend everything is great because maybe that will hide our deficiencies and allow us o trick these young men into thinking this is a football Nirvana? So you think these kids don’t read Twitter and see alL of the portal defections? Give me a break! We all want UNT to succeed but we need to be honest with ourselves as well.
  13. Disappointing to be down 3 but we are on the road and a half left to go.
  14. Keep the photos coming! Enjoying em.
  15. Be careful GMG friend. Our compadres on here do not allow any grieving over such a huge part of our squad. Instead they endeavor us to see the bright side of the situation and blame outside forces. Some of them even are taking a Josh Greet knee and thanking the departing ones for their gracious act.
  16. Yes and it looks like it is becoming extremely successful as well expected.
  17. @Big Z i do have to admit I like a good piece of bologna on fresh white bread with mustard. May need to start up a new poll.
  18. Unbelievable, and frankly scary if you care about this program. This literally may be the easiest non conference schedule we have had since returning back to I-A football? 2022 09/03 - SMU 09/10 - Texas Southern 09/17 - at UNLV 09/24 - at Memphis
  19. This is concerning...
