How else do you manage results at your business sir? Please enlighten us. If you lose a key employee doesn’t your boss have a right to hold you accountable?

I’m sitting here watching WKU and Austin Peay and it really saddens me to see WKUs best receiver is from Houston and would Be a stud for us. makes me wonder how great our program at UNT could be if we had the right guy at the helm, an overachiever like this guy at WKU or Trailor at UTSA.

This sounds interesting. Thanks for posting. This is pretty close to me.

Depth Chart for Good Guys vs UTEP
Tom McKrackin replied to South Texas Green's topic in Mean Green Football
In many ways Shorter is the MVP of the team. I think when he is healthy and making plays the entire program takes a huge step forward. He’s a freak athlete and no one can cover him one on one. -
MinerInWisconsin MI Miner Maniac Yesterday at 11:04 AM #6 UTEP 34 UNT 17 Based on UTEP having a solid rb group, experienced OL, experienced qb, some good if not great wr's and UNT's defense is rebuilding a bit. But the big reason for a 3 score win is the defense. Hurrying their qb, slowing their run game and creating some turnovers. The big crowd will help by creating an electric atmosphere. Finally the Miners win an important game and create a buzz in El Paso. link: https://utep.forums.rivals.com/threads/1st-miner-football-game-predictions.11529/

I agree with you. I say we keep Dave and dump Hank (he’s a fossil) and maybe bring in a former player like Craig Robertson now that he retired.

Joe Greene, DL, North Texas: Mean Joe Greene Charles Edward Greene. Nowhere on Greene’s birth certificate does it say “Joe.” However, his aunt began calling him Joe as a child due to his resemblance to legendary heavyweight champion boxer Joe Louis, and it stuck. But where does the “Mean” come into play? Greene played football for North Texas, who were the Eagles back then. Chants began in the stands, “Come on green, get mean … Here we go, mean green.” That quickly became the “Mean Greene” moniker for the ferocious DT’s play on the field. UNT is now the Mean Green, but it’s an adoption of the chant, not of Greene’s nickname: “I’m proud of the tie and my link to North Texas, but I was too busy playing when the chanting started.” LINK: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/top-10-college-football-nicknames-of-all-time/

Copperas Cove Alum, Coach To Be Named To Hall Of Fame
Tom McKrackin replied to cousin oliver's topic in Mean Green Football
You hit the bullseye my friend! That is the only missing ingredient. Once we have a coach that can deliver this to the Dentonites you will see this program explode in popularity! -
This is very concerning to learn that Gunnell is injured and also explains perhaps why Aune was named starter.

Has Gabe Blair moved to center?
Tom McKrackin replied to cousin oliver's topic in Mean Green Football
Please don’t apologize- that is not acceptable to the “OLD” Denton crowd on here. They never make mistakes, ever. -
Thanks so much to Daryl Dickey for such a incredibly generous donation!

I only wish Denton would support UNT like this…
