I just don’t like that interlocking NT. I feel like we should be using more eagle SOW/State of Texas or something logos than that. Creating and building a better brand that people will remember should be the goal

I mean ours is more unique and it fits us. We are eagles with wings, duck feathers are silly. I think it was an idea that we developed into something cool, not as much as a ripoff. That would be Texas HS logos ripping off college logos.

A lot of programs change it on facilities they aren’t using when they leave for another conference, I don’t see why not. I guess first we need a stadium name, but you get my point haha

See I want to feel bad, but I can’t. Traylor decided, in his specs of his contract, to not take on recruiting folks in his staff and other things around their coaching tree. That’s not even mentioning they don’t pull in enough revenue from ticket sales and in general from sales within their poor athletic department to be able to fund more contract money and renovations on facilities. I just don’t understand how they have a higher season ticket numbers than us, but can’t fund buying out their horrible MBB coach. I mean we aren’t a rich school in any means, but it just doesn’t make sense.

I will be there, very excited! Should be as good as any CUSA event.

UTA is beginning to actually invest after like 7 years of not caring that much. I think they make a tournament run in the next few years if they can recruit like they used to and retain some guys they have now. Promising future there for sure, love the hires so far
