Agreed. Clown comment. This guy did not see Fraternity Hill during Homecoming last season. One of my proudest moments was going into that game with various family members that went to different schools and seeing a sea of people in green walking, tailgating, and inside of the game. Hell of an atmosphere. Even when our team sucks, we know how to tailgate for all the reasons you mention.

Apparently not. What a clown comment. Lawrence is an excellent college town and only 30 minutes from Kansas City if you want more things to do. I see more similarities than differences between Lawrence and Denton.

Normally, I would say "Of course, the goal for every school is top 25 ranking and New Years 6 Bowl," but even other schools are taking note of our dedication and improvement across the board in athletics. Consensus seems to be that we have the highest ceiling in the conference and that we are the ones driving the most aggressively to continually improve. It is noteworthy when other schools see what you see. See CSN boards for that.

I'm not surprised by the reach of our school. I have found plenty of Mean Green stuff at Kansas Sampler here in Kansas City (mainly only have KU, K-State, and Mizzou)

This is just what I had read here so purely speculation. No insider info. Personally, I would love this and would show up to Allen Fieldhouse next season in a Woolridge Mean Green shirt. I just don't know if I see it happening.

Agreed. And it appears a majority of the conference agrees. Most of the predictions I have seen have us against FIU for the conference championship, though some have La Tech as dark horses in the West. No way UAB comes back for another title after losing all of their 30 year old players.
