In another post I made, I showed that we have the same amount of team National Championships as them, a couple of which were cheerleading and rodeo national championships they claim. Other than basketball and baseball, their sports are hot garbage yet they try to put themselves at the same level as UT and A&M. Delusion at it's highest

Lol, Texas Tech has always had a deluded sense of place when it comes to sports in Texas. I would never trust anything written by a publication that is related to Tech

Admittedly, I was also very frustrated with Harrell's offense last season. Seemed too vanilla at times. And you could almost always count on being stuffed on any short yardage situations. Reeder sounds creative and like he is ready to mix things up. I'm stoked about the potential for the offense this season

Aren't we one of the main sponsors for the Cowboys? I went to the Tech - Baylor game last year in Cowboys Stadium and we kept popping up in the advertisements as a sponsor. Good publicity nonetheless

Every article this off-season has mentioned Shorter in some capacity or another. Sounds like he is primed to have a big year.

Damn, I was hoping it would go to Garden City CC. Would love to see how they transition after losing their Championship coach and I have ties to Garden City, Kansas.

Agreed. There are Texas high school football stadiums bigger than theirs. Unfortunately, they are locked in that spot with no room to expand due to the neighborhoods and houses around them.

A lot of projections I have read, including from our conference mates, have us in the Championship game against FIU

I would highly encourage everyone to make the trip up in 2021 to face Missouruh if you can. Columbia is an excellent college town that rallies around the school and the game day atmosphere is electric. I went to Mizzou - Vanderbilt last year, planning on attending Mizzou - Florida this year. Guaranteed I will be there in 2021

Shorter is such a weapon with that speed. Hope we use him in a lot of ways this season. Really stoked about him

Of all our guys this year, I thought he had the best chance to get drafted. Don't think this surprises many of us though. Despite the drops, we know his quality and how many times he straight up burned opposing DB's.
