I don't buy it. They know that even just going there gives them a greater chance for it and reputation for the pros, even if just for one year. And no need to question my allegiance to North Texas. I'm the only one in Kansas with North Texas stuff on my car and in my office.

That also isn't to say that every program is cheating like the dinosaurs make it out to be. According to them, there is no honest program left. That is what I'm arguing against. Some schools get the best players because they know the program and reputation will earn them accolades even if just for a year playing for them.

Players are more selfish and programs cheat more. That's why players try to get theirs then run off to the pros, hence why they want to win for a year at somewhere like KU or Kentucky where the exposure is greater for the year they are there. And none other than dating a Jayhawk and living in Kansas. Barely going to my first KU game next weekend. My degree says North Texas on it

And playing at a program like KU won't get them Max exposure and better reputation than most other basketball programs to get to the pros? If you don't think that seeing those trophies there and having the chance to aspire to that isn't motivational enough to make someone want to play there, then you should just stop commenting on sports because you've obviously never played. They aren't just any normal "antiques" clown. They're the reason most of us donate and keep supporting this school

Clown comment. They are one of the first schools to play division 1 basketball, they have the original rules of the game in their main viewing area along with their National Championship trophies, and they have some of the richest and deep history in college basketball. Why wouldn't you want to play there?

This team and coaching staff is a far cry from the one that got it's ass kicked by Portland State

It may sound good to you but I'm not content beating up glorified D2 schools and barely eeking out wins against teams we should be killing. You can't honestly tell me there was a game you could point to that was the moment this team announced to everyone that we have arrived.

All games. And I'm not arguing the skill level, which I believe is good. I'm talking about getting some size.

We are getting out-muscled, blocked out, and unable to get much in the paint which forces the team to overcompensate by forcing up more 3's (many of which are erratic and ill-advised). I partially agree that we are flat out just missing our 3's (especially Rose), but in my eyes it is a combination of the factors. If we had more size, we aren't relying on the 3 ball as much

Agreed. We are getting beat due to our lack of size. Can't get anything inside so we are forced to continually look for the 3 ball. We need size and height to balance our athleticism.

I found and bought an NT jacket that I saw in the middle of a KU, K-State, Mizzou store here in Kansas City. Always good to see how far our reach extends.

This season has shown us that this team will play down to the level of our competition then have to squeek out a close one in the end. I'm not optimistic

The only saving grace is that the rest of our schedule is theoretically manageable, but you never know with this team. Hot and cold on any given night
