  1. South Alabama’s 87-10 romp over Northwestern State might be the 2nd biggest blowout of the weekend after this game.
  2. Being only 10am on the west coast, hopefully the PAC is still asleep after a Friday night bender.
  3. And we miss the chip-shot field goal. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  4. Let’s get it! 🔥
  5. Indeed it's a great response. However UNTLifer won the thread from the jump with this well-timed comedic callback.
  6. Great write up, Adam. I look forward to listening to the podcast.
  7. Colorado College in Colorado Springs. They don't participate in football. I pulled the map from MWC website which is why they are included.
  8. Here's what's left of the MWC. Visually it's clear to me that the PAC will poach the American next. Question is how many schools do they plan to pick off and what new TV markets add value to their next TV deal? I think @NT80 suggestion of Memphis, Tulane, UNT, & UTSA is right on the money. Doing so will diminish the AAC in both brands and large TV markets and create much-needed conference separation for the PAC as they try to rise from the ashes. I bet UTEP is thrilled with this new development. They are ripe for the picking if MWC wants to expand into Texas. Could also see them add on Texas State for a foothold in central Texas and a travel partner for UTEP.
  9. Love the look! ❄️😮‍💨
  10. From Ross Dellenger: https://sports.yahoo.com/after-latest-realignment-moves-which-other-schools-will-the-pac-12-try-to-scoop-up-182233033.html
  11. My friend, as a GMG veteran, you know that's what we do best here on GMG.com
  12. I'm sure the MWC brass are aware and trying to get ahead of it. Based upon the numbers El Paso Eagle shared, the MWC is about to receive between $108M and $116M in exit fees/PAC penalty fees. Divide that by the remaining 8 schools and each school will receive between $13.5 and $14.5 million dollars. If Air Force or any other MWC school wants to leave the conference, they will also have to pay the $17M MWC exit fee and forfeit the $13.5-14.5 million headed their way. That's a $30 million dollar swing which makes me think the MWC will stay together for the time being.
  13. Yes, they are stuck for now... I'm curious if the PAC would even welcome Cal and Stanford back? The PAC was left for dead and Oregon State and Wash State were humiliated by their peers. Bridges were burned on the way out. Now if USC and UCLA wanted back in, the PAC would get over their feelings fast. But Stanford and Cal... I'm not so sure.
  14. Where do I sign? This makes a lot of sense. Memphis is a brand, Tulane an AAU school, and UNT & UTSA establish a strong foothold in major Texas markets with a growing rivalry. If there was ever a season for us to get hot and put together a winning streak, this is it. We have to seize the moment.
  15. It would definitely makes sense but unfortunately common sense left college football years ago. If Clemson and FSU can't break free of the ACC's Grant of Rights, there's no way Cal and Stanford can afford to break back to the Pac. They are stuck.
  16. I agree 100%. However I don't see the American making any moves until the Pac 12 is done poaching teams. I'm sure Memphis will get the next invite. Then who's next? ... UTSA? 🤮
  17. We’ve got to beat Tech this weekend.
  18. I asked my friend from Tech how Red Raider Nation is feeling with UNT coming to town and this was his response. 😂

  19. To the young, single guys out there... make sure to remember this sage advice the next time you hear LAST CALL on Fry Street.
  20. RIP UTSA… just got hit with a stray bullet.
  21. Tobe is living his best life right now. Great to see him on SNL with Timberlake. Also loved this performance video with Ochocinco. It's almost racked up 29M views. Do ya thang Tobe!
