  3. Yes absolutely! Love the oil derrick in the helmet.
  4. How about the fact it was the same day Mean Joe got his statue honored and there were NFL Hall of Famers all over the place. And a new athletic center was christened. Just a super sad chapter and a perfect example of how this program has sputtered at the most critical junctures.
  5. For all of those panicked out there about the new look AAC, take notice. The AAC is better than given credit. Especially in basketball. But even in football, the AAC will be ok, and the revamped league provides Tulsa an opportunity for success. Yes, the conference lost its top three football programs in UCF, Cincinnati and Houston. But it didn't lose its best team. Try telling Tulane, which had been a middling AAC program until last year, that it is time to panic. Although picked to win the conference this year in the pre-season poll, the Green Wave wasn't highly thought of coming into the 2022 season. Tulane (12-2, 8-1 AAC) beat No. 12 USC in the Cotton Bowl to finish the season ranked No. 9. The Green Wave doesn't have to take a back seat to anybody. Tulane beat UCF in the conference championship game after losing to the Knights in the regular season, and defeated Houston and Cincy as well. They also won at No. 14 Kansas State. Tulsa (5-7, 3-5) can use that as a motivation since, surprise, the Golden Hurricane is picked 11th out of 14 teams in football this season in the 2023 AAC preseason poll. read more: https://tulsa.rivals.com/news/new-look-aac-provides-opportunity-for-tulsa
  6. Acting like a common whore and buying your way to the top is not attractive my friend. SMU should be ashamed. 200 million for no revenue. That is truly despicable.
  7. Excerpt: The AAC’s current television deal is a big reason why. The AAC signed a 12-year, $1 billion TV deal with ESPN back in 2019. The conference distributed an average of over $8.3 million to its 11 all-member schools in 2022, according to tax records. The Mountain West Conference distributes around $4 million annually, according to multiple reports.
  8. I think he is! Very interested to follow his coaching career at UAB.

  10. Screw you SMU!
  11. Lookit ACC is too far won’t work. PAC 4 will add 2 from AAC to get to 6 and then take the best of the Mountain West in 2025 to get to 10 teams and get an upgraded TV deal.
  12. Looks like SMU is buying their way into the ACC. Oh well life will go on.
  13. Look the autonomy means you are eligible fpr an auto bid to the 12 team playoffs if you meet certain criteria (top 25 et ). Yes it impacts your ability to vote on legislation but no-one cares about that. They care about the auto bids and frankly the Pac 4 will not keep them.
  14. To what are you speaking to? I don’t follow you.
  15. Also we need to recruit Sisoku to the team next year as he could hang with those big old men.
