I have been told that HEB already has land in Denton for a store. -
What happens if the PAC and ACC collapse and how will that affect the AAC and UNT. I find it rather interesting to even be talking about this but it is beginning to be a possibility or even a likelihood. At some point there will be a major break in college football between the larger and smaller programs using whatever measures to determine program size. This is just my opinion but something like this will occur. The Big Boys, will end up in four or five five Super conferences with 20-16 members and as long as we end up in that group I will be happy. How do we insure that we are part of that group, WIN GAMES!!! Winning will, raise our profile, raise money and hopefully elevate our athletic program to the top tier. Some of our new conference mates will not make it to that level. Now is an important time to continue our recent efforts and to redouble them so that we are not left behind. Our current and planned physical improvements are pretty damn good. Our Olympic sports are good and getting better, basketball is something to be proud of and I believe in the future our football team will be as well. What can you and I do? Talk up our program and its successes. Attend games and bring a friend(s) to a game or an event on campus, buy season tickets and contribute as much money as you can afford to the MGSF. I believe the future is bright, let us make sure it is!

SDSU sent letter to MWC asking to postpone exit deadline

If any teams are added to the PAC it will only dilute the remaining members percentage. If a team doesn’t drive up that number it does not matter who it is, you would not add them. It is simple math. -

If I read this correctly, at 100,000 watts coverage should not be a problem. WAY TO GO JARED!!!! Not sure AAC schools are excited about us joining
Cooke County Kid replied to Ross Hodgeson's topic in Mean Green Football
I believe that the AAC will learn to love the new programs. I hate to use these words but the upside potential of the new programs, now that we are in a top six conference, is even better than before. As an AAC member we will get more money and more exposure. The UNT administration could also increase our revenue through new stadium naming rights, increased attendance and better fundraising. I am optimistic that the future is bright and it is Green, as in MEAN GREEN! -

I am an optimist, I believe we will be 9-4 with a bowl win. GMG -
Our basketball program is ascending and we HAVE TO DO ALL that we can to maintain it. Winning the NIT is an accomplishment, but not the absolute goal. We should be able to capitalize on that championship. If you look at the NIT teams that have won championships they tend to do fairly well in the future. IMO it will also help get us over the hump on selections to the NCAA’s.
