  1. Season tickets are cheap, I got mine at the end of last season and what a schedule. Even with a new coach we should make some noise, in the conference and post season. If we could average 6,000, the crowd can make some noise too!
  2. At this juncture........WIN GAMES!!!
  3. Oh ye of little faith…….. we will get there before it is all over, I hope.
  4. That is what I heard as well and that 2-3 years ago.
  5. I have been told that HEB already has land in Denton for a store.
  6. What happens if the PAC and ACC collapse and how will that affect the AAC and UNT. I find it rather interesting to even be talking about this but it is beginning to be a possibility or even a likelihood. At some point there will be a major break in college football between the larger and smaller programs using whatever measures to determine program size. This is just my opinion but something like this will occur. The Big Boys, will end up in four or five five Super conferences with 20-16 members and as long as we end up in that group I will be happy. How do we insure that we are part of that group, WIN GAMES!!! Winning will, raise our profile, raise money and hopefully elevate our athletic program to the top tier. Some of our new conference mates will not make it to that level. Now is an important time to continue our recent efforts and to redouble them so that we are not left behind. Our current and planned physical improvements are pretty damn good. Our Olympic sports are good and getting better, basketball is something to be proud of and I believe in the future our football team will be as well. What can you and I do? Talk up our program and its successes. Attend games and bring a friend(s) to a game or an event on campus, buy season tickets and contribute as much money as you can afford to the MGSF. I believe the future is bright, let us make sure it is!
  7. Some way we need to get over the $55 million mark and soon.
  8. If any teams are added to the PAC it will only dilute the remaining members percentage. If a team doesn’t drive up that number it does not matter who it is, you would not add them. It is simple math.
  9. The highest rated group of 5 running back coach in America!
  10. KEGL (97.1 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Fort Worth, Texas, and serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It has a hot talk and sports betting radio format, known as "97.1 The Freak," and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. The studios are located along Dallas Parkway in Farmers Branch (although it has a Dallas address). KEGL has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for most FM stations. The transmitter site is in Cedar Hill. KEGL broadcasts using HD Radio technology. The HD-2 subchannel carries an active rock format.
  11. If I read this correctly, at 100,000 watts coverage should not be a problem. WAY TO GO JARED!!!! 12. I believe that the AAC will learn to love the new programs. I hate to use these words but the upside potential of the new programs, now that we are in a top six conference, is even better than before. As an AAC member we will get more money and more exposure. The UNT administration could also increase our revenue through new stadium naming rights, increased attendance and better fundraising. I am optimistic that the future is bright and it is Green, as in MEAN GREEN!
  13. Wow, that is a lot of really really good Basketball teams, that would be a great tournament to attend. Win that one and you make a statement.
  14. Let’s hear it for University of North (Oak Cliff) Texas!
  15. Why isn’t there an article about UNT hiring Ross Hodge?
  16. Too bad we will be out of town, hats off to the team for a GREAT season! Hopefully there will be more parades and banners in our future. GMG
  17. NO, it has to be a major college basketball arena FIRST, anything else could be gravy but if your not careful slop.
  18. Tell me that GM is afraid of getting beat by his former team! 😉
  19. I am an optimist, I believe we will be 9-4 with a bowl win. GMG
  20. Now that is a crowd, thankfully l was there. If you can fill Super Pit or get close, it is one hell of an atmosphere. The problem is not the team or the building, it is…
  21. Our basketball program is ascending and we HAVE TO DO ALL that we can to maintain it. Winning the NIT is an accomplishment, but not the absolute goal. We should be able to capitalize on that championship. If you look at the NIT teams that have won championships they tend to do fairly well in the future. IMO it will also help get us over the hump on selections to the NCAA’s.
