    One season a career does not make. In Morris’ third season if he has not had a winning season and WON a bowl game he needs to go, period. I believe this year will tell us a lot about what kind of coach we have, let us hope we are surprised!

    I believe the play of Morris and our offense in general is not going to be a problem this year, just like it was not last season. If our defense does not improve we can look for a repeat of last season, the opener will be a damn good indicator for what we can expect.

    I am sure that there are some who will disagree but as far as conferences go this is the best one we have ever been in and we are fortunate to have gotten here. Now we just need to show WHY we are here!

    There is a very nice young lady that calls me periodically to check in and she is very helpful.

    Maybe they can start a PACC (Pacific Atlantic Coast Conference) and scoop up everyone that is left. Make it 20 teams in all time zones.

    I followed Carlos and Sebastian a few years ago at the Colonial and got to visit with them and their families. Really nice guys and they are friends and they live near each other in the Metro-mess. I suspect it was a good pay day.

    Participation in any tournament is an obvious yes, more practice time will make for a better team next year.

    I lived in Austin at the time. I went to the game watched them rob us on the last play. I watched the sports on channel 24 and Hugh Lewis the sportscaster just shook his head.
