The Alumni Association and university went all out on the last NM Bowl and it was a lot of fun. The later in December the better, more practice time 😉!

They are here to get an education and they must be intelligent, they are making the grades and making us proud!

Three weeks in a row on “national” TV, generally larger crowds, more money. Not a bad deal, when we start winning it will be nice. What a defense yesterday, if we can play like that the rest of the year things will definitely be looking up! I like the American.

This is our second year in the American. I suspected, hopefully in a year or two we will be able to recruit players with more size and speed as well, then we have to keep them! GMG!

Coach Morris is probably going to get hired away as a G-4 offensive coordinator.

That is the number of yards we gained and 32 first downs and still got beat. What does that say about our defense, a lot! It is bad, real bad!!!

I guess our hope is that Texas blows out Georgia and then everyone turns to our thrilling close game to see the MEAN GREEN pull out a victory!

I am sorry, but the best way to earn respect is win games and games that matter and while people are watching. So let’s go win some games!

Don’t bring us down yet and besides none of the upcoming teams are that good either, they have done what we have done, beaten teams they should have. All of these teams are about to experience the same thing, playing teams with winning seasons. Heck it is literally the middle of the season and we have a chance to make a statement, three of them by the way. We shall see how things turnout, but HOPE springs eternal, or is it a trap? GO MEAN GREEN!!!

NTSU kicked the tigers butts a few times in the MVC and they have not forgotten. Let’s give them something to refress their memory!

We lost too many close games last year, the fau game was our second test of the year, S Alabama the first, and we passed. If this team wins the close games it will be a heck of a season. I am not too worried about our offense or even our special teams play. Our defense can give me serious heart burn…..

I believe we have an advantage and we need to use it, Home Field. Following a victory over the tigers we will have a sellout Homecoming crowd for the Tulane game. A win on Homecoming guarantees a sellout for Army. We do have a great stadium when we have a crowd, think the stand against Rice on Halloween or maybe the play against utsa, we can get the place ROCKING!!!

the Mean Green Eagles need to do what it takes to win the American Championship and then I suspect we might all be really happy what would happen next! Is hope a trap?

We beat an okay fau team in a deluge at their home. We won and it was ugly. This team has grown and hopefully will continue to. That said, it is a time to continue winning, how would a six game win streak sound? National television while we are doing it, even better. We will be on national television anyway, so we better win, obviously the more the better. Go Mean Green!!!
