I believe our team is hitting stride right now. Two more games like the last two and we go dancing!!

We have to continue making Mac’s time her as “pleasant” as possible. As he continues to win games and hopefully championships it will be harder and harder. I believe he likes it here, he continues to elevate our program and we need to continue to elevate him.

The answer is pretty simple, no one is promoting/marketing basketball. Get a couple of marketing majors give them a budget and cut them loose. If I had the inclination I could do it, it is not rocket science. The product is really good, just get them in the doors…

Let’s get there and see how it goes, the team I saw on Saturday is on a roll right now and might just make a deep run. One game at a time!

We are a Power Six conference, if these power 5 conferences consolidate then we better damn sure better make sure that we don’t get left behind, at least not any further than we are now. It has been a long hard struggle if I don’t say so myself!

I think the AAC should go after what’s left in the PAC-10 and bridge it with Air Force and Colorado State. If that doesn’t work then after the ACC gets raided we get a few of those schools. We have to remain relevant in this new round of conference go round, so we don’t end up in C-usa/2. We need to hold onto Memphis, Tulane, Navy, etc. Winning in as many sports as possible to build that MEAN GREEN name recognition across as many sports as possible. I believe we are on the right road!!!

It will be a fight, everyone wants to beat us and we are leaving the conference, we are also their biggest rival. We will prevail but it won’t be easy.

That 6th seed for FAU will only help us on our seeding when we beat them in the conference tournament!

I live a little bit north of Denton and we drive to our cabin in S Colorado in about 9 1/2 hours, Springs is about an hour and a half away. It is beautiful in the fall and AF Academy would be a great replacement for smu.

Let us be real folks. To SMU and your fans good luck in the PAC and I mean that, heck I even hope it survives. The PAC is kinda a move up, we would be going as well if invited. Mean while back here in Denton we are going to continue our forward march and look forward to continuing our rivalry for many years to come. Heck, the future is bright no telling what it may bring…….

If you look closer it has to do with the number of players that we signed, I too was worried until I looked closer. We actually did really well in my humble opinion. Our PWO’s are really good, I believe the future is bright!

Our secondary has been suspect for years, these high school DB’s could be the answer to stopping those big play scores that seem to plague our defensive secondary.

This new staff has set things on 🔥. As we enter the American Conference this is one heck of a start. I suspect the new conference did not hurt our recruiting.
