UNT, memphis, tulane and utsa to the PAC and pay us all $10,000,000 a year on media rights for 12 years and I say let’s go. Other than something like that we probably ought to stay and hope that memphis and tulane stay as well and they just might.

Let’s reward them with some purchases so that they will see a value in carrying our products!

I have been fortunate to be at 8 of the top ten attended games in our history and I will keep coming until I can say ten out of ten. We have got some work to do to make that happen and I am not getting any younger! So I will see you tomorrow at the Super Pit as we look to beat our second Owl in a row!!!

I am a proud Delta Sig, 1980 graduate and I ran into two of our actives at the game Wednesday and they were pumped up and stated that there were more actives at the game. It is an untapped potential, not sure why it is not being worked. There should be a challenge among the various fraternities and sororities to see who can get the most members to a game and which one is the loudest. Same could be done with the various dorms. In the middle/late 1970s we had the Super Pit rocking, and only a total enrollment of 17,000 students.

You get the best players available for your program/style no matter where they are and I think he has done a pretty good job! GMG

We are getting the same amount as the other five teams that joined the American when we did, including utsa.

After reading the article on revenue we cannot afford to go anywhere, we are lucky to be where we are. Someone needs to start raising some money and soon.

I am not a wealthy man but we all need to do more. This truly is embarrassing, I am not sure how we even compete. I will increase my giving but that is not going to do much. Someone must be asleep at the switch. Our fundraising/advancement folks either need to get after it or find a new job. I am in shock to tell you the truth utsa has got us beat. Does anyone care?

It seems to me that in nearly every game against decent teams, this team will fall way behind and have to battle back to try and get the win. Tulane beat them last week, we fell behind finally tied got slightly ahead and then lost by a couple of points. They need to start with intensity and finish the same way.

Good grief. Do these new employees earn money and time towards their state retirement? Might be a good recruiting tool to use against private schools. Five years on a football team and they are half way to vesting!

We should always try and improve our position when it comes to conference affiliation and over the last few years we have. Sunbelt....Conference USA and now the AAC. We are getting about as high as we can get without being in a P4 conference. Without the right schools the "new" PAC is not the right direction, literally (west) I for one do not want to be in the Big West 2.0. Winning games will be the best way to enhance our position. More money and exposure would be good but the PAC does not even have a media contract.

Excuses are getting old. I used to tell my staff, “don’t tell why you cannot do something, tell me how you are going to do it and what I can do to help”. I do not believe anyone is “working it” a little creative thinking and hard work will go a long way!

Our NET ranking is up to 60 today after the victory last night, GMG!

As of now I plan on being there but the weather might keep me at home, not the cold but the falling weather. I am north of Denton on the Red River and they say it could start snowing Wednesday afternoon. But we know it will be HOT in the Super Pit and the Rice will be COLD!!!

I know we are all frustrated and this wait for next year shit gets old, but the team is improving albeit not as fast as we would like but it is improving and there is hope for the future but it is time to step up and if EM cannot produce next year then it will be time to move on. I would say 8 wins is the floor! GMG!!!

I will admit I am an optimist and I believe with a halfway decent defense we win 8 games next year and go bowling and break our bowl game losing streak, and from what we saw today it could be even better. Offense will not be the problem next year.

I am proud of our team they played hard and never quit. Too many mistakes but everything considered they just came up short, those two turnovers killed use or we would have won fairly easily.
