  1. No. I think Seth did a surrender cobra for about 3 seconds with very minimal emotion and moved on. If I'm in those shoes I'm getting a 15 yarder on me and then I'm leaning into them even harder on principle set a point and create a game stoppage. It was utter BS.
  2. Seth Littrell has zero leverage to negotiate any contractual terms. Wren Baker was taken to the woodshed and taught a lot of athletic administrative lessons by Jimmy Sexton. Wren Baker now has 100% of the leverage. He can, as a matter of fact, dictate his terms to the fullest. Or, hand out a pink slip. Pretty simple.
  3. He changes the approach... 1. Get a QB coach/Co-OC on board. 2. Phil Bennet must prove to be a recruiting asset. If not, move on, and bring in a DC with similar philosophy with recruiting prowess. 3. Seth Littrell the person doesn't have to change the complexity of who he is, but Seth Littrell must change his persona. I get it, he's not an actor and no one is asking him to be. But year 1/2 SL needs to come back. Be enthusiastic. Be happy to be where your feet are. 4. 2 years. 5. No raise. 6. Smaller buyout. As in nil. 7. Win a bowl. This season. Non-negotiable. If these are dictated to him and he agrees to them (and if he doesn't, a firing for cause will be written into his contract), give him 2 more after he raises our new bowl champ trophy. Thoughts?
  4. Naw. I was never good at debate. I'd bring hands.
  5. 20 for wku a real bitch ass. He should've had 10 white jerseys surrounding him. I'm surprised no one put up for Oscar after that.
  6. GO MF EAGLES!!! Win some kind of championship or gtfo. Bottom line. GMG
  7. Absolute dogshit no-call. Whoever ruled that a non-targeting should be relieved. How SL didn't come unglued is beyond me, but again, he's an emotionless garden rock. At minimum, should have been a basic personal foul for being a bitch and looking to cheap shot like I'm sure #20 for WKU is.
  8. UNT was mentioned actually on gameday as a possible destination for him. I like Skip Holtz, but I would take Deon in a heartbeat. He would do wonders on the recruiting trail. Denton kids would start committing here and recruiting is 100% about recruiting from your home base first, inside - out. And we are very, very rich in talent in Denton County alone.
  9. This is grotesque thinking.
  10. Skip Holtz is my #1 choice. Has been.
  11. Not judging anyone. My post was in agreeance that he played decently well, but could've came up huge right there at the end. He missed. It happens. Certainly not why we lost. Could've been why we won.
  12. Yeah. He did overrun that 4th and 2 though. If he squares that WR up, that's ball game.
  13. And win or lose fans don't want to go to Ford Stadium...clearly.
  14. Welp, another UNT hall of famer playing right before our very eyes...
  15. I haven't read any of this forum except for this response... However, that is EXACTLY his point.
  16. Run jets. Reverses. Buck sweep. Qb keeper. Do. Something. Creative. To. Put. Your. Team. In. Position. To. Be. Successful. Mrs. Littrell, listen, your husband is doing a bad job. You won't have to worry much longer.
  17. Because an adequate offense could have went into what is widely known as a 4 minute offense to milk the game away and we are calling plays like it's 2001 and Brett Farve is our QB.
  18. That was a bad loss. We were beaten by 1 player, offensively. Defensively our heralded OL and RB corp was worthless, granted play calling was suspect. They stacked in running down situations and we proceeded to run right at it. On pass situations they dropped and we proceeded to pass right into it. Funny thing is, their secondary is abysmal and we have a horribly inaccurate QB. Exhibit A - we were trying to go tempo and extend our run game a little bit with a quick hitting WR screen...Aune threw the ball at least 5, maybe 7 yards into the turf in front of the WR. We are so limited in what we can do to press a defense that is dictating to our offense. MF has been gone for 4 years and this is where we are offensively.
  19. At least. He's really inconsistent, which makes him just really bad.
  20. The 20-17 UNT lead with 5:59 to go and we proceeded to run the ball 1 time and proceed to incomplete pass twice (to stop the clock) and go 3 and out. THAT drive was the game ender, IMO.
  21. This loss is on Aune. He is not good. An average QB, just average, throws for 400 vs the defense they were showing us all day. He, and SL allows it to happen over and over, throws for 40 something %.
