I would run the ball 70 times vs us. Every opponent. Just run, run, run. -

It's the philosophy. It's known to be a bend don't break defense when you have really good or SUPERIOR talent. It's shit when you don't. Imagine what it is when you don't. -

Can we expand our running game to the douchebaging outside. We are inside zoning them to death and it's not working. If this is what we are doing and if this is what we hired, then why did we fire Seth Littrell? And awesome 11 yard Jr high punt. Flew all the way from Australia to provide that for us. Yay. -

We can't recruit better than what we have. According to our national televised commentators, we are UNT and we are never going to get the pick of the litter. Lovely. Reminds me of @emmitt01 signature quote. -

As of now, Stone is showing much better arm strength and accuracy than Aune, even in those intermediate dig type routes. -

We are certainly being coached by another Leach disciple...It's not about their offense, it's about OURS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need lisinopril. -

Sure, but not really getting to him. The stack relies too much on angles and tackling in space. Not penetration and containment. Tackling in space is the most difficult thing to do in space and we're asking linebackers (mostly under recruited ones) to tackle in space over and over. Oh, and tuddy UNT!!!! 59 yds. Maclin has got it and Stone might not be too shabby! -

That is embarrassing attendance. We have almost a 45k attendance. 14k more than what our stadium holds and there are probably 15k there, max. So...just...bad. -

ACC officially invites Cal, Stanford and SMU
NorthTexasWeLove replied to Cougar King's topic in Conference ReAlignment
Oh, so we are talking about meriticracy? Who have you beat? TCU, once? That got their coach fired and yours stolen. Smu couldn't win the AAC. Did smu even play in the aac title game? -
No Westward expansion for the AAC?
NorthTexasWeLove replied to El Paso Eagle's topic in Conference ReAlignment
Well, a few things there about Liberty based off these copy and pastes: 1. They were started in the 1970's. Accreditation takes years and years to build up throughout entire academia. 2.They don't want their professors spouting off nonsensical BS, rather than facts, as seen in oh let's just say our opponent tomorrow, Cal-Berkley. 3. CUSA presidents did vote them in, ironically. Granted, there was a shift change in presidents in the voting, given realignment. 4. Nepotism is a reason to boycott a product? Better rid all of your belongings and go live in the woods. 5. As far as the president not being academically qualified, that is indeed weird. I have zero ties to Liberty. I do know that they invest heavily in their athletics and that they have a good supportive fan base. It seems like a reasonable add to the AAC, granted not at the top of the pecking order. -
I decided to quit going to the SMU game when it was @SMU after the 50-something to 30-something loss, I think in either 2017 or 2018. They don't return the favor as far as attendance and I am tired of watching our players piss in their cleats vs them. We have had a 3 or 4 similar opponents over the years and the teams we beat in CUSA or played closely go on to beat or play SMU closely. Just tells me that the SMU coaching staff and players over the years get ready for us and we do not them. We fold. It's lose-lose playing them.
