We certainly are. This was never going to work. In the conceptual idea of defense, the idea is to take away something...preferably what the opposition is best at. Nevertheless, the easiest thing to take away is also the easiest thing for the offense to want to do, the run. The run is always taken away by pre-snap alignment and then body placement... penetration and containment...the 4-3. The stack is a weak mans defense for a weak mans football team. It's not sustainable unless you're playing the true air rais, and maybe that's why air raid coaches run it. It's a really bad defense vs a multiple offense. Really, really bad.

I would like to make this as clear as possible... Cal sucks. They will not go bowling. Their coach will be fired after this season. They MIGHT win 3 games this season. We are bad. Our DCs philosophy is awful, and our HC hired him to run THAT defense. And, to add, this has been against 2nd string QB on an awful team. + to all of this... they get the ball to start to second half. Yay us!

We are terrible. I no longer see 6 wins. Running teams will annihilate us. Unfortunately, for us, everyone will turn into run teams vs us.

NOOOOOO. This isn't growing pains TO the 3-3-5. This IS the 3-3-5. It's been and don't break. But when you don't have the dudes to not break, you always break. It's literally the philosophy.
