  1. Technically, below average. I believe his WSU offense ranked in the 80s. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.
  2. He's not an outlier. Several programs are filling their rosters with 25-40-60-70% transfers. What he is, though, is a media magnet. And, therefore, you will never hear the end of it. The longer it works, the louder it will become. Side note: Travis Hunter is freaky.
  3. If things are going to just eventually plateau into mediocrity for X amount years just to go through another firing/hiring and be at square 1, I'd rather just be awful out the gate to get it over with asap. Maybe hit em with a dielectricion of duty and wiggle out of the contract? I don't know. Let's just go beat FIU and LaTech and see where we sit.
  4. It appears that way. Assumingly, this has to be signed off on during the interview process, right? Or is our Athletic Director actively getting duped?
  5. Top to bottom we do not have capable players on defense. We snagged 2 safteies and a DE in the portal for defense and how it looks only 1 will contribute of the 3. So they come in and inherit an already bad defense, some players leave, some graduate and they fill those voids with a singular safety and apparently a walk-on from Canada. It's as if they may have thought we were good enough on defense OR they don't value it. I don't know, you tell me.
  6. Yes. If that's what he thinks he needs to do. Honor system goes both ways. Especially at CUs level, they're trying to climb up into the ranks of professional college football. Produce or get to steppin..
  7. Alright, well guess he has it figured out then.
  8. Well, we have a lot of offensive commits right now for the 24 class. Silver lining to that is that they will have to portal up to fix it. Otherwise, it'll be plain ole neglect.
  9. We don't exactly know, for sure. I think we have a good idea. Take our team off the field and replace us with competency and Cals offense will find itself on the struggle bus. They are not glowing with NFL talent, by any means.
  10. Preaching to the choir, brotha.
  11. I have to think or really, really hope that Caponi gave him a look at LB and it may have been too much space for him.
  12. I see what you're saying. I don't think UNT has utilized all of their tools to be as successful as they possibly can be, namely the transfer portal. And I think that's why it's frustrating. Littrell didn't. And it appears, again the staffing hires we have made, Morris doesn't plan to. And I think it's a short-sighted terrible idea, and extremely frustrating.
  13. Good luck with your surgery. #GMG
  14. Yes. But if we are trying to elevate our HS recruit that we land, which I think given the staffing hires is the plan? You can agree with that? Then, attrition will naturally increase? Also, how transferring is becoming as common as breathing oxygen, and not just transferring but successful transfer projects, it will also naturally occur even more? I think those are safe assumptions? Do you agree?
  15. A few things about Boise. 1st: They have lost some of their luster and high level G5 success, mainly due to other peer programs rising up. 2. They also played way out of their class on Saturday. 3. Make no mistake, we should emulate them, too. But we did take our .500 football team into a bowl game with them last year with a neon yellow wearing former retiree and only lost by 3. And they swept their conference slate, and lost in the MWC champ game.
  16. Yeah, taking a 58-35 ass whippin would've felt much better <sarcasm>
  17. Yeah, and I can see that as reality if he was at a program that had non-stop waves coming in from rival fans. It's us pissed, laughing in nervousness, concerned, and questioning it. No one else cares. So, once I realized that I knew this was 100% at fans.
  18. It is true. Since the portal rules have been established our top players flirt with the idea of it or do it. OL to Vandy TE to Arkansas Corner to Ole Miss 2 DE to UCLA Corner to UCLA 2 TE to Cal RB to SMU Corner to SMU WR to Hawaii (not sure if rule change had happened yet) WR to Auburn LB to Auburn LB almost to ATM And these aren't just JAGs, these were major contributors, and many starters. Teams are clearly scouring some of our most productive players and snagging them. Pleasant surprises have been the RB corp, Mose, and Texada (And he came on late last year, I'll be surprised if he's still here next yr if he plays well). Tip of the hat to Cobbs on keeping that group together.
  19. That's only because we aren't recruiting (or playing well enough) well enough for our players to be plucked away at a high level. The new staff has been hired to recruit HS kids. Great. Go recruit them. If we start getting ballers like this staff is clearly banking on, our attrition will inevitably increase.
  20. I hate to pass on that, too. There is a problem nowadays landing HS kids that turn into ballers: 1. We develop them, and while they're not even hitting max potential yet.. 2. They leave As wild as the transfer rule is, it's still a 1 time deal, unless they are willing to sit for a year as a 2x transfer. We start landing ballers from the portal, they're basically locked in and we're ready to go.
  21. Seth Littrell certainly did not lower this program. He definitely elevated it. Give credit where it is due. Eric Morris was hired to stop the beatings (failing at that so far) and win bowl games, while competing for conference championships.
  22. I don't think there's a %. It's more complicated than that. If I had about 2 hours of uninterrupted time, I could paint a picture.
  23. Of course hes cherry picking. That's who we should be emulating.
  24. Precisely.
