  1. A coach staying would've already put these fires out in most if not all cases. A coach contemplating a departure will let the fire rage on.
  2. His chin looks like plaster caked on for a character in a new role.
  3. KState board is saying that Bill Snyder is set to announce his retirement today, "Supposedly."
  4. Not to over analyze, but did our poor performance on the field coincide around the timing of fat Jimmy Sexton putting his hand up Littrell's skirt?
  5. I don't think he gets on Twitter and folliows our top 3 offensive minds on a whim post from joeBlowPurpleCatPride2003.
  6. Well...that's telling.
  7. He kind of won. 7-5, 5-7, 8-5. He did what Texas Tech does, mediocre.
  8. I think there will be a lot of people who would want this job. I think we could cherry pick a G5 coach from say, Troy? I think we could name our coordinator from any school in the country to come here and take over the program, outside of the Venables type coach (son in the program he's at and is a well known loyalist). Or maybe go after a struggling P5 HC that has let the rope slip where he is at and maybe looking for a fresh start, like a Gus Malzahn (It is being reported that his agent is telling him to accept any job that he is offered). That scenario is far fetched, but reports are reports. This is a good job to be had, and there would be candidates lining up at the door.
  9. Maybe not, but our beat writer and their boars or beat writer are singing the same tune. That can't be orchestrated I would think. That would me lead me to think something must be going on.
  10. Kind of agree. Smoke = fire.
  11. Good luck to him
  12. I think it's quite the opposite...UH got played.
  13. I'm sure it was, I can't recall though. Wish these qbs would get rotation but we can't protect a lead and if we can SL seems to be willing to go through hell or high water to pad Masons stats. As for next season...Tougher schedule while losing some defensive play makers. Offense has to get it's 2017 mojo back because they may be in for some more heavy lifting in 2019. We need guys to step in and step up at LB and Corner without doubt. DL should be able to hold pat, but it'd be nice to have an unforseen guy step up and be a difference maker in that group as well. I think we have been underrecruiting the DL group and it may start nibbling on our ass in 2019 and then ripping chunks out in 2020.
  14. 9-3 is not "special". These type of comments are symptoms of the beaten dog syndrome. Just because we have had buckets of suck dumped all over us for decades does not make 9 wins special. Especially if you consider we went 8-1 vs a bunch of literal losers and 1-2 vs winners. 3 of our wins have 31 losses. And we played 4th quarter games with 2 of these in this special season. For us to get to 10 wins, I'm afraid we may need a meddling 6-6 squad from the belt or mac. And I'm not trying to be a debbie downing dick head. I just can't stomach calling the results of this season special.
  15. First game I've paid any attention to. Look at the schedule, can't blame me.
  16. Good showing for 30 minutes. Filling the schedule with sisters of the poor makes any game like this overwhelming.
  17. I saw TCU and TT half empty on more than one occasion this season. As for some of the others, lol. Liars.
  18. UNT v. BYU in Dallas would be ideal given the rest of the scenarios. This would generate the largest ever attendance for this bowl and would make for an interesting match up.
  19. No if...they will. And btw...I have no love for BYU. I just admire their decision to write their future instead of find comfort in their former current state.
  20. Don't combine yearly schedules to make your point more effective. They have a schedule that dwarfs ours. And when they eventually put together a good team, which they will, they will be national relevant and unlike UCF will contend for a playoff berth...due to the decisions they made to better themselves. Meanwhile, we'll gloat over a division crown and statistics.
  21. No..it's nothing to do with money. They aren't paying those schools a dime. And if they were still a MWC team they wouldn't have the room to make this schedule or the prowess to bring in some of those names. They made an executive decision to pull out of the MWC when they had a great coach in Mendenhall at the helm and never looked back. It was a GOOD decision and they are now kinda grouped into that P5 group because of the timing of their MWC withdraw, paired with timely success, and a great AD pulling the right scheduling strings in the background.
  22. They were on national tv 2 nights ago vs a top25 team. Once BYU get a back to 8 and 9 wins you will see them more because they dictate their schedule and will be marquee games once THEY get better. Their schedule is great. Next year they host Utah, USC, Washington, and Boise while traveling to Tennessee, Toledo, USF, and SDSU.
