  1. I'm sorry your crush wasn't mentioned. Butteth hurteth
  2. We finished 17-13. We will need to get to a final appearance to be considered for the NIT, which would put us around 20-14. "Major" programs will get into the NCAA with a worse record. With the new NIT format I am intrigued to see what kind of shitty basketball they try to pass off as 1 and 2 seed worthy. We have 13 losses, but also watch a 13 loss big10 or ACC squad be a NIT 1-seed. Also be prepared to watch a 13 loss big10 or ACC team be a non-AQ NCAA team. Basketball, more than any other sport, is rooted in parity. Take the top 3 teams in any major conference in the country and push them through our top 6 or 7 teams with a home/home. Dumb fans truly believe they would come out unscathed. And the media and selection committee wants the dumb fans to continue thinking that.
  3. I can't imagine having wrists so limp.
  4. We haven't earned a bid to the NIT. I think standards have to be set for all tourneys. Selections are based way too heavily on subjectivity. NCAA: AQs = .500 leauge records or better for all. NIT: 20+ wins. CBI: .500 overall or better.
  5. So, if I may, what do you think will spring from THIS season that we haven't seen? I have my answer: Decrease in offensive production + Similar defensive output = another poor year. If you don't think that will happen, that is fine. And I hope you're right. But I would like to know what variable(s) you would like uncover that I am unaware of? All things point to a declining football program.
  6. They both definitely should've went to the MAC.
  7. Seems about right. Thinking Morris may have been a dud hire. Can't keep players. Can't keep coaches. Can't lure players. However, he keeps coaches that don't perform. And then does nothing to bolster their underperformance. Frankly, I don't see how we are 10.
  8. Chasing 20 wins is at stake. Our seed is locked in.
  9. But they're valuing devaluing what else they've done while valuing other programs (wink wink) losing to "tough competition."
  10. They have a 23-5 squad in the NIT? That is ridiculous. usf will be a 26 or 27 win team they're falling on and off the bubble, but they have 17-11s sneaking in on the 11 and 12 lines of the NCAA tournament. They think we're idiots and can't see what is happening. We clearly see. It's all an absolute joke.
  11. Need this feather in the cap. Also need FAU to be a conference AQ.
  12. You are what your budget says you are. I just fear the law of averages might come for us.
  13. I like time current setup of sunbelt football. Much rather be in the AAC for basketball purposes.
  14. Your doubts? I have full faith that we will give up 40 ppg and Eric Morris will be talking about needing to work on tackling and Jared Mosley will be mum and we're supposed to just support on blind af. Eyes wide shut
  15. Andrew. I am nice to you. You make it difficult, and I stay being nice to you.
  16. Yay... we'll be in the SunUsaAac 3.0.
  17. I'll take CLT away from their place over the others.
  18. Early on they'll be unhappy and demanding. Then, like I said, the new reality being propped up by Rece Davis and the likes will soothe their egos.
  19. Probably not. The media and the cronies pulling those strings will start to normalize 6-6 being a decent year, and 8-4 or better as playoff consideration worthy. Mouth breathing fans of those franchises will fall in line with the new normal so they can pound their chest at their 7-5 record.
  20. Biggest game of the season. It separates the team from .500 and into the realm of respectability. It basically cements a seeding at the conference tourney. And it's the last home game before spring break, I believe. A big turnout would be nice. Check that, we get FAU at home.
