100%. The NIT has been largely competitive. The NCAAT hasn't been. From the S16 to F4 there were 4 competitive games. 8 of those games were decided by 7 or more points. 6 were 10+ point beatings. The TV people will love this year's tournament. Fans, not so much. Very chalky and noncompetitive.

I'm not going to rest our success at the feet of a 2nd year player coming out of the Horizon. If that's where we're at.... we're already in trouble. I'm not sure what to think of it. He stacked three 20 win seasons at Cleveland State. But he never won anything while finishing 4th, 8th, and 3rd in Horizon league play. Ask yourself, is this the best UNT Basketball can do? And he's woke. Just... great. This program about to get buried.

A lot goes into considering leash and what not.... I will tell you this, our athletic director better not hand out a 5 year contract under the current rules unless we're hiring a surefire candidate. Even then, I'd be hesitatant.
