  1. I started watching at the start of the 2nd half and it was 20-6 and the place was a ghost town.
  2. On another note, I think Wren Baker is looking for another job. At least, if history is any indicator he is. WVU had their season opener at home vs a very well known brand, Penn State, and the stadium was half empty. Wonder who's skirt he's looking up nowadays.
  3. W. Ultimately all that matters. To the things beyond the matter of the W, we are paying Caponi 400k for absolutely no reason. You could plug in a jr high coordinator into our DC role, and as it sits the results would not differ.
  4. Kick the 3. Analytics is based upon holding them for field position and going back down on a short field if you don't make it. Dumb. Morris. Cool haircut. How old are you? 16?
  5. Doom and gloom is generally our on field result thus our tradition. Gmg. Hopefully we can go get one today.
  6. It was both... not a change of direction in regard to philosophy as UNT always does. However, it was very UNT in terms of EM sort of being a budget hire. The Caponi fiasco will be the thing that sets Morris' career back a half decade or more.
  7. SL was kept too long. The program grew stagnant. It felt like he peaked and that winning a conference 🏆 or even bowl game was always going to be out of reach. Then Mosely goes out and hires a lesser version of SL and I honestly expect lesser results. Right now: they're both 5-7 after year 1. SL has the advantage because he inherited a trainwreck whereas EM inherited a little bit of stability. So, we already have a poorer version of SL just after year 1.
  8. Same. Not sure wth mosely was thinking.
  9. I prefer thoughts and prayers.
  10. California
  11. No. Moved out of Denton in 2018, and out of state in 23.
  12. Jeff is entering into his 7th year in the leauge and will be right around 9.6M in career earnings at seasons ends. Not bad at all for the Elkhart, Texas product.
  13. I would pay a nice coin for a 6 pack of these shipped to me.... message me please
  14. This is THE root of G5 problems. Until THAT is fixed the entire group will collectively fail. They don't care what happens to the university in which employs them and they never have. They only care about individual success in hopes of a lifeline being thrown their way. I suspect monetary amounts in these contracts to start to significantly diminish, and rightfully so. 20k in attendance becoming rare and celebratory. Support is dying off and/or going away. And in this current format, I don't blame anyone.
  15. As you should be. Buuuut... as long as checks clear they don't give an eff. Js.
  16. Some coaches have "it" and some don't. We can all make our own mind up on Morris. I'm not sure how to explain what "it" even is, but if you know what I'm saying then you know.
  17. Not at all. It's crickets coming out of the football program/athletic department. Might be designed, but who are we kidding.
  18. It's a real thing. A real problematic thing for lil ole schools like us. No need to not bring it up, it's not going away. It will continue to haunt our roster for the foreseeable future.
  19. No. I think he's onto something. Normal students AND student-athletes should live in the world of equity. I think ALL people should flourish equally. Why should a starting QB of any athletic program financially succeed beyond that of the average Joe 2.7 gpa business major. We have to cut people off at the legs or even hips, for others to catch up. 2.7 Joe should be just as financially prepared at his graduation as 3 year starter QB with 8000 passing yards. It's only fair, right? RIGHT?
  20. Hard to get recognized individually when the defense you play for gets mulched week after week.
  21. Yeah, I thought about them. Give me ECU.
