The play calling is bad. 3rd & 1, power. Stuffed. 4th & 1, power. Stuffed. Similar to last year, with and without Reeder. 21 seconds to go in the 3rd quarter, wind in your face, down 2 touchdowns, 2nd and 4 from the 6...They take the quarter because of a little wind...As if THAT's the problem. The botched 2 point conversions...botched meaning they should have just kicked the dang PAT's. To boot, they call a TO to set up one of the attempts. Then the real beauty of it, Holgorsen lines up his squad for a 2 pt conversion to extend the lead to 3 full TDs and gets it seamlessly....As if they've practiced situational football. Then the refusal to argue or schmooze refs by showing emotion or calling a 2nd half timeout to try and dictate a review in what may or may not have been a close game going into the fourth Q. But then blowing a TO on a sloppy 2-pt try. The constant slow developing route trees called time and time again when you know UH has 7 in the box in a 3 WR set = pressure, but they still call these long crossing patterns or slow developing posts. Many of our problems are just being exacerbated this season because we aren't winning. But the same problems are still there and apparent. The common denominator is not Body Reeder or Graham Harrell, it's Seth Littrell.

Yeah, I read about this. I don't care what anyone says about Mike Leach. The dude tells it EXACTLY how it is with a very minimal amount of coach speak.

I didn't call anyone bozos for wanting to KEEP SL. I called ya bozos for it taking people this long to QUESTION SL. There have been red flags going up since 2016 on this staff and it takes year 4 for people to question them. I think we should keep SL on the basis of keeping these recruiting classes intact. But, I would have a short leash on him. You can't cut bait when it's too late, because if you do then you just wasted 4 years of momentum and we'll be right back to square 1, 2015.

Only way Apogee sniffs 25K+ again is if it's hosting a CUSA championship game OR win 6 in a row going into the season and home finale vs UAB (with something on the line).

lol. She's butthurt about fans calling our sideline stupid? Well, I mean...Good for whoever that fan or group of fans were. But bailing on the team because of hearing 'stupid' is what this team deserves. Got it.

This OL, though not great, is not the problem. Mason Fine is not hitting his targets. He is off target more than I have ever seen him, missing out cuts, over shooting simple screen throws, then chunking his mouthpiece 30 yards out of frustration after said throws. He has been missing target after target since the beginning of the season. He feels phantom pressure, he still holds the ball too long, and he compiles it all by missing his mark. It's clearly visible.

I call bull on this talent gap you speak of. Yes, they have a composite talent advantage. But they made us look like an FCS program. While just last season, we made SMU look like an FCS program and Army babied UH. I am not buying into this talent gap as THE problem. There is another variable to this we either aren't paying attention to or refuse to admit.

What are they defending? What aspect of the game? Or are they just defending the person, Seth Littrell rather than the Coach, Seth Littrell? As to what they are able to defend, I am curious to know what angle these people are taking?

Win out.... Is this season still a disappointment?

No. Don't fire him. But the warmer needs to be turned on. He has won nothing. Lost the majority of 'big' games in what is standard Seth Littrell blowout fashion. He then rambles in coach speak while making no staff changes as if everything is hunky dory. And the question I always ask myself about most purchases I make, is there value there...Am I getting a good deal. Well, at 1.8M, is there value there? Are we getting a good deal? Or could I place my money elsewhere for the same product at literally half the cost?

All of this could happen on a dime. And we're trending toward it more so than we are away from it happening. If I'm a Texas HS football player and I have a SMU - UNT - UH offer on the table, where do you do? And not just from the 2019 W/L, but the trajectory and trend of each program AND staff. Seems pretty simple who's getting one lined first.

I wish AD's would grow a pair and flush this down the drain with concrete proof or hand out pink slips on the spot when it's sniffed out. It can't be tolerated by anyone at any place. But they schmooze and continue to play the game the way they were trained to play it...All in the intent of propping themselves up higher in the future. Bunch of nobodies.

Nah. We do suck. That's not changing just because we win a game vs a bad 1-4 CUSA team. They just suck worse. It's why this conference sucks. It's a race to the finish line of who can suck less.

This is absolute craziness and what is wrong with the foundation of this program. Too many fans, alum, donors, season ticket holders, students that has never even attended a game, etc. think exactly like this. It's a toxic mentality for a program trying to rise up. Because once this mindset, which is the historical mindset, sets in it's malignant and incurable. I get the, "Let's not kill ourselves or each other about it" mentality, but this post is telling and more than that.

It's been time. You bozos have been living with your head in the sand if you're just NOW questioning Seth Littrell. What is there not to question? Shame.

Garbage. Ridiculous garbage. Taking a quarter down 2 touchdowns. Bozo 2-pt conversion attempts. Poor play calling, again. Mason Fine missing targets all over the place. Special teams being the wrong kind of special. Defense, trash. All against a team without their starting QB and best WR, on our turf, with a great crowd. It's about inexcusable letdown. To boot, Seth Littrell has emotions to that of an aged, tired sloth. Let's just throw more money at him, eh? That's a wrap for me in 2019. Attendance is about to tank.

Indeed. It's probably closer to his old stomping grounds than we are in Denton as well.

Chad Morris needs to be in trouble. He was a poor hire and he has went on to prove that. Some Razorback fans think that SMU's surge is attributed to Morris' recruiting. There may be a sliver of truth to that, but there are a lot of freshmen and transfers as major contributors to their best start in almost 40 years.

What makes him special is his leverage and weight. He's a ball of muscle mass that runs dang hard. The win yesterday, regardless of opponent, was the best overall W in the Littrell era. They didn't play great, offensively (even with 500 yards of O), but they chipped away and imposed their will to 45 points. Defensively, they bent and held all game long. It's one thing to be bending all of the time and slipping up here and there, but they bent and held all game. Great W.
